best fans in the league miami story

there is no doubt in my mind we are the best. but don't take my word for it.  i went to the warriors heat game in miami in a group of five. one dude from illinois, a laker fan from LA(annoying), one from minnesota, one from canada and me from the DA BAY!

Star-divide

by the end of the night four out of five were warriors fans.  The dude from Canada is a full convert.  he even ordered his Bdavis jersey.
the scene was incredible.  like a third of the arena was warriors fans.  everyone reppin' the bay.  there was a group of about 15 dudes all wearing the blue "the city" jerseys with different warriors from mullin to hardaway to ellis they started the WARRIORS chant that rang through out the arena in the fourth quarter. awesome scene.  by the end of the night all the warriors fans moved down and just owned the arena.  We definitely have the best fans in the league you should've seen the miami locals they were shook.
oh yeah so were riding the metro after the game and this heat fan doesn't say dukie until he gets off at his stop and once he's comfortably away yells at these 3 asian guys "go back to california" without missing a beat one of the asian guys says "how does the gutter smell?"  and that night was closed as oakland completely owned Miami.
BEST FANS IN THE WORLD NO DOUBT

I was on a cruise to antarctica 2 months ago
And this other passenger was constantly wearing his Dirk Mavs jersey, those horrible green ones.  I couldn't stand it anymore, so I went back to my cabin, and put on my B.Davis jersey. I saw him up in the buffet, we made eye contact and i casually smirked.. he knew!  haha!

yo
not to burst your bubble or be a killjoy, but honestly, warriors fans are not the only fans that believe this. all the elite teams' fans (especially lakers, suns, jazz, etc) feel that they are the best as well.

however, if you would want to compare atmospheres, i don't think any other arena can match ours. every single home game against a winning team (.500+) is ALWAYS playoff atmosphere!

Bearded Fun
I was at that Miami game too. We were the four guys in the Baron Beards sitting lowerbowl who appeared on FSN (btw we met Barnett & he said those were the coolest beards he'd seen YET - Barnett approved baby!). At the later half of the 4th them Warriors chants were off the hook! Sad to see the mass exodus in the 3rd (by Heat fans) but the empty seats helped echo our chants. We hooked up with that big group of Warrior fans and we took a group pic. Warriors fan always rep HARD!
Cuz Baron said so....yadadamean?

Even NYC Agree's
I was in NYC last year at the MSG watching a Magic/Knicks game and all the guys I went with all decided to rep Dubs gear.  We were being asked what exactly is a Golden State.  Well 3 months later the entire country got to know.  The New Yorkers kept mentioning Chris Mullin and Spree.  I guess thats all they really know about our under the radar team.  Go Dubs!

REAL BEARD MOVEMENT!!!!!!!!
where's the commintment people!? not only is the real deal an order of magnitude more shredding (yes, i'm from santa cruz, i say shredding, it rips), but cinco de mustache is coming up, so i don't want to hear any excuses bout your girlfriend complaining.   this is serious sh*t! also trimming beards is for (insert homophobic slur here).
