A Little Bit of Karma for Fisher?
I just saw a link on the NBA site saying Derek Fisher has a partially torn tendon in his right foot. He's still going to try to play it out but it's an injury that would normally sideline a player six-eight weeks. Also with Kobe in Technical Foul trouble, this could be bad news for the Lakers.

I guess when people said karma would come back to get Fisher, it would come a lot sooner than later. I know most people are over it but I still wouldn't mind those 4 seconds back and see if Fisher would flop again, bad foot and all.

KARMA?
I heard there was a letter of apology issued by the League about the incident...anyone have news on that?

Agree ...
Fish did grab on purpose, just like Kobe was grabbing Baron, on purpose. No calls either way.
Karma ... yes-sir!!
I would like the on purpose dirty plays (player who makes them), once reviewed by League and verified bad -- then that player is Suspended the next game AND Suspended the next time they play the offending team. That would help slow down the deliberate dirty stuff. (Plus a nice stiff fine.) Bruce Bowen would deserve some of these.

I believe in karma
I read when the Lakers played the Bobcats right after the Lakers/Warriors game, Floppy Fishy played 31 minutes (so much for that horrible bruised knee he was hugging during his flopfest) and he only scored 2 points. The Bobcats won, JRich had a great game, and Kobe was ejected after two technicals.

the league admits the error

its the time...
And so what if Fisher got tripped up, the fact that he grabbed Monta on the way down is just as bad and he should have been called a foul.
By the way, did anyone notice that Baron wound up WIDE OPEN with the ball when the whistle was blown?

Game 7 of the 2008 NBA Finals
It's funny how Lakers fans try to justify that call. It was already admitted as an error by the league, Derek Fisher was surprised by the call as well. It should have been a no call. Delaney tried to be the "cool" ref by being the first to blow his whistle when he saw two players on the floor. And since Monta was on top of Fisher, it means that Monta commited an offensive foul? What a joke.
That call helped sparked a rivalry between the two teams; at least FAN wise it will. There's a video of the play on Youtube, and there's 800+ comments between Warriors and Lakers fans talking crap to each other about each other's teams.

After reading all that garbage it makes me appreciate the positive tone of all the GSoM'ers here. Sure we can be critical of our team but its all about improving, not trash talking. Even at the Laker games at the Oracle for the most part the fans are cheering on the Warriors rather than just mindlessly booing the Lakers. I'm glad GSW fans keep it positive and fun!
