Most likely to happen Part II

Warriors are now behind Denver a full game. To make the playoffs, the Warriors need to finish the season one win better, which means for the last 3 games, the Warriors need to win 2 more than Denver.

Warriors:
vs. Clippers
@ Phoenix
vs. Sonics

Denver:
@ Utah
vs. Houston
vs. Memphis

Question is this: What's more likely: Warriors going 3-0, (Denver goes 1-2, losses against Utah and Houston) with Phoenix being the toughest challenge,or Warriors going 2-1, while Denver goes 0-3, losing to Memphis.

Of course, all this is assuming we can beat LA and Seattle, while Denver loses to Utah and Houston.

Update [2008-4-10 23:43:44 by WarriorForLife]: I know many people have already stated these scenarios, but I thought I should make it a diary so we can bring all our thoughts to one place.

Why?
There's no other diary that lists the current scenarios and gives other GSoM'ers a center to discuss.

Denver
has, I think, a good shot at going 1-2...both Houston and Utah want home court (rememeber what happened in last years playoffs when we all wanted Houston but got Utah)...Home court in that series won out, Utah 4 to Houston 3...This is all of course assuming that neither team (Utah,Houston) runs away with the fourth seed within the next 3-4 games, in which case, Dubs we believe 09'??? =(...

Hopefully the Dubs can close out thier remaining games and like last year, hope for 3 miracles...We beat Phoenix, Denver looses to the Jazz and Denver looses to Houston...

Our only hope is that the Jazz and Rockets are still jockeying for position when both meet Denver...

after losing to sacramento and seattle?
they could easily lose to utah and houston. As long as they are alive, I think the warriors will win the nex 3 games.

Also, keep in mind the Utah game is IN salt lake city, where the Jazz are deadly. and the houston game is the back end of a back to back, following the utah game.

I am demoralized, but the season is far from over...

memphis
is going to be playing for ping pong balls so i can't see them beating denver.

i just hope the dubs 1) can bust the zone the next 3 games, 2) get something from their bench, and 3) no one boos at the home closer if they don't make it to the dance.

3 WIN STREAK & DENVER DOES A BACK TO BACK
its very likely and I'm praying that Saturday will be a very likely outcome...

We'll be tied =]

but I fear the Suns

don't underestimate the Suns!

They're deadly with Shaq.. hopefully they'll be resting that lovely day!
