Warrior Fans Anonymous VENT

My mother and I were receiving condolences like someone (knock on wood) passed way. So just to take the emo out of ya'll , share the cynical yet sympathetic condolences you guys have received.
Here's my list:

The Dean of my school stopped me while I was walking and asked, "Did you see them lose to Denver last night?" Then he chuckled in crazy way.
This random dude just plain tapped me and said, " they broke my heart last night."

My mom's list is way better!

Her carpool told her that her son didn't eat dinner and went straight to sleep. Her husband didn't talk to her all last night after the game.
Human Resources dude called her twice to make sure she was okay.
My aunt and my mother start cussing in tagalog b/c of the Warriors
Her GM sends her and other managers an e-mail making sure my mom's okay

So what condolences and sypathetic messages did you receive today?

Im the biggest Warriors fan in my school. There are only about 15 real fans out of 300 people. Everyone is either a bandwagon or a Faker fan.
Then my teachers start telling me "Sorry about the Warriors last night". Then I was thinking in my head where the hell did that come from. Then after school these parents were saying "Sorry Gabe, they came up so close." I'm Filipino so is probably 75% of my school so every parent was talking to me in Tagalog or some other Filipino language, i dont know. Then I thought what the hell are they saying.

coming out of the woodwork now. Love it! Now if only everyone could get along when were at the Serramonte food court, Ichiban Library, Gerrys Grill, and everywhere else where Pinoys congregate and we'll be fine! Hahahaha!

Well my son gave me a hug and a kiss, (he's 11)when he saw me slumped on my bed after the loss. I ddnt eat dinner last night and got 17 text messages of sympathy. I got 3 messages from other friends who were gloating and I just responded to them that

A. I am going to key their cars when I see them in the parking lot

B. "Putang ina mo mamatay ka na"

or C. I will give a barrel man as a gift to their daughters aged 10 or younger.

i know

thank god i went to safeway and they had a half off bin because the packaging had some rips on it. i had to capitalize on the deal. though i could if all else fails go to that rice that americans eat that long grain stuff that they seem to like. i still cannot eat that uncle ben's instant stuff! maybe if i had to made some champorado or arroz caldo, though it would not be close to using some good rice.

watched the Denver game from Gerry's Grill. There was one Denver fan who was yelling God-knows-what. After the game, I heard some Warriors fan say they were Jazz fans for the night which disgusted me. Some white girl put on the Baron Davis beard on for a little bit though.

wear dubs gear with pride

i wore my HWC Golden State shirt with pride today. At work all the bandwagon Dubs fans,most of which are pinoys, made fun of me for wearing my Dubs shirt. went to target later in the afternoon and ppl were lookin at me as if i were a niner fan wearing a niner jersey at a raider game.
i still sported by 2 week baron davis beard. will remove it when the season ends (officially).

At school the next day

I got a lot of props from people. Sympathy props (If there's such a thing) by a lot of the Warriors fans at the school, since i'm already known as a Warriors die hard. I would walk around the hallways and different Warriors fans would walk up to me, shaking their heads (not at me, at the Warriors), and saying things like "Yeah man, I can't believe they lost" and a bunch of other emo lines.

The Lakers fans were ok, there was only ONE Laker fan that was rubbing it in. I was expecting a whole mob of Laker fanboys to start laughing at the Warriors, but some of them actually told me that they were rooting for the team vs. Denver. The one Laker fan that was rubbing it in was the same person who i've been talking with while the Warriors were competing for the 8th spot for the past 1-2 weeks. He would always state that the Warriors WILL NOT make the playoffs, it sucks because I got 4 classes in a row with him. lol.

And then those damn fans that suddenly turn all negative and turn their back on the team.

There's 2 people I know who were so called "Warriors fans" and all of a sudden they shake their head at the team. One of those guys didn't even have faith in the Warriors vs. the Nuggets. A couple hours before the game, he was already saying that the Warriors suck and that they won't make the playoffs. He said GS wouldn't make the playoffs... and this was BEFORE the GS/DEN game even started. It would have been reasonable if he said that AFTER the Warriors lost the game, but he never believed they would win in the first place. And then there's another "Warriors fan" who didn't even believe that the Warriors would be able to beat the Kings on Tuesday. He was all like, "How the hell are the Warriors going to stop Kevin Martin?!?". He even bet me 10 bucks on the game, as if the Kings were an elite squad and that Kevin Martin is Kobe Bryant. Frickin bandwagoners.

All ya'll get mad that we're mad at bandwagoners. Well, we accept the fact that you hate us complaining, but you just need to let us vent. It won't stop. It's very annoying when you stand by a team through the thick and the thin, then to have someone praise them when they're doing good. Then when they're doing bad, they act like the Warriors don't even belong in the NBA. I know there are bandwagoners for every team, but they are some of the most annoying people in this world.
