I feel for the Sonics

I switched to Dallas vs Seattle last night. You would think they're a playoff team. Granted it's the last game in Seattle, but I like how it became a sell-out to cheer for the Sonics one last time. Kevin Durant, my favorite player in the NBA, hit a clutch shot to beat the Mavs. Warriors 1st, but I wish the Sonics and Durant the best (Of course not when they're in contention with us)

Predictions...

Very close game tonight. In the fourth the Warriors regain a lead, and the Suns decide to rest their players, resulting in a 7 point Warrior win.

On Wednesday, they play a close first half versus the Sonics. At halftime, they find out that Carmelo Anthony missed a game winning shot at the buzzer because he was so dizzy he fell over. W's come out blazing in Half 2, and make the playoffs.

v suns

last time the warriors played the suns didn't shaq end up sitting with early foul trouble? i don't think he played the fourth quarter at all. the suns beat the warriors playing the game both teams are good at.

i give this week two Ws but they'll ultimately be tied with denver at 50 wins apiece.

Overall Week 25 Prediction: 2-0

50 Wins: Yes

Anyway, it's really sad to see Seattle move. I really wish both Oklahoma City and Seattle could get franchises.

On the other hand, I'm totally psyched to get to see a new team. Its been a year for me with only 2 NBA games, and my thirst for them has grown. TV just doesn't put out the same experience. And, I'll get to see the Warriors on the road again!

Apparently, the big issue with KeyArena (according to David Stern) is it's footprint. KeyArena is somewhere in the 30,000 foot range and the Ford Center is in the upper 40,000s or over 50,000. Honestly, I don't get it. But, money talks....

Reguardless, I'm superpsyched for Phoenix tonight. It all rides on this one....

However, unless the Nuggets lose to the Grizzlies at home, we won't make the playoffs. Still, I hope we get to 50 wins.
I like the Sonics and the city of Seattle and it's a great shame their team are moving away.
