Question for frequent game-goers

hey guys-

I try to make it to a game or 2 a season.  I can't make it to much more for time, age, and financial reasons.  Anyway, I went to Saturday's game, thinking it was my game for the season, and had a blast.  I sat in the upper deck (section 204) as always, and had a wonderful time.

Anyway, I came home and found out my best friend had just got his birthday/HS graduation present: 2 tickets for us to Wednesdays game.  Section 128 (right behind the Warriors bench), Row 1.  I've never even stood in the lower bowl.  Needless to say, I'm ecstatic.  So, I just have some questions for people who have ventured to games with good seats.  How easy is it to get autographs?  How early should I go? (will probably go very early, just because.

Basically, if I could have some tips from people who have done this before.  I don't mean to sound like a babbling overly-excited kid (which, admittedly, I am), but I want to make the best of the experience.

Thanks!

-Brady

Brings back memories

I remember when I was younger I used to get there early and try to get autographs... I always tried to get Joe Smith... See if you can get O'Bryant to sign ( I hear he usually does it with his eyes closed)
Anyways, from what I remember the doors open at 6 for a 7:30 game. Get there before the doors open and then try to line up near the tunnel where they come out for warmups and get in good position. The lower and closer to the floor the better ..
Make sure you have a sharpie and something to get signed ready. If you're not quick enough they'll walk right by you before you can get the cap off of your pen..
It's also fan appreciation night, so they might have some guys signing or other cool things going on.

Awesomeness

Thanks man, I appreciate it!

Also, it looks like I should've made this a fanshot too. My apologies again.

you lucky dude

I always check the ticket exchange the day of a home game to see if anyone in section 128 is selling their seats cheap but I think the cheapest I've ever seen them go for is $500/each which is out of my reach. I'm insanely jealous - damn, you'll be so close you could reach out and touch them!

Try this...you are guaranteed to see players I promise.
since you are way in the front, after the game, go to the sideline club bar which you already have access to since your seats are down there.....once in the bar area, take the elevators(can't miss them) down to the next level which will bring you to the Courtside Club lobby & bar . This is also where the entrance/exit to the players parking lot is so all the players & coaches walk through there and you're guaranteed to run into someone. BUT keep a low profile cuz security will be trying to clear out the lobby. you will not have access to the bar itself but if you hang around the lobby long enough, I promise you will see at least 1 player.

I had no problems the last 2 times I went to a game; First time I was able to take a picture with Mitch Richmod and Barnes....and just this past week after the Denver game I saw Ellis, Barnes, Jackson & even Keith Smart but opted not to ask for pictures cuz I could tell they were very upset about the loss. If you want more clarification or pictures to prove it, send me a message and I'll give you a better explanation.

thank you everyone!

It's really exciting, seeing as I watch every game, but have only been to 5 games, and each time it has been in the nosebleeds. This is, without a doubt, a once in a lifetime experience. So thank you everybody for your tips and enthusiasm!

Krossover - thank you so much! Would you mind emailing me with some pictures? Since I've never been down that low, it's a little confusing.
thanks!

in case anyone is interested....

I was just looking at stub hub and there are seats available in section 128, row 17 for $177 and in row 23 for $130…still expensive but not totally out of reach?
