Air France
You are clear for landing...
My momma always said timing was everything...hmm.
In basketball, timing is important when it comes to blocking shots, and... also when getting put back dunks on missed shots.
It may have been in a flash in the 4th Qtr.this evening that I saw it. I really appreciated the timing of... Air France. And I must say it was a relief to my eyes.
Here are...drumroll...
Things I've Come to Appreciate About A.F.
- Has the most vert. of any Warrior.
(sorry monta you have great hang-time)
- Plays agressive defense
- Has made an effort over the last 2 months
to show off for suitors this off-season.
- Is a good balance player that gives another dimension to the roster.
Right now, tough to say it..but the Dubs need Air France
and mama says, timing is everything.
No mama jokes please..

as long as
Hes a problem when he tries to do too much. With his basketball IQ, he needs to keep the game as simple as possible.

0.73 turnovers per game
The dude does not turn the ball over. I know it is fashionable to talk about all hus turnovers abnd stepping our of bounds but it is just not happening that much. And when does commit a turniver, everybody cries and goes ape-sh*t with "I told you so."
Here something for ya; Jackson, Baron, Monta, Harrington, Biedrins and even Buke have higher turnover rates than Pietrus. He doesn't really create, but it is not like he's always stepping out of bounds or anything.
Believe it or not, besdies Barndan, Pietrus has the lowest turniver rate on the entire team. Certianly the lowest among anyone playing significant minutes. Yes. True.

Makes you wonder
Hopefully him coming back gives us what we need to put Denver behind us and maybe give some R&R to Baron and Jax in the game against Seattle.

to mama
Petey looks real smooth but is a groin really worth missing 9 games. Kobe is playing with a shooting finger that needs surgery and he plays every night especially when his team needs him. I'm glad he's back so those 2 weeks he should be fresh and ready to go. No excuses now.. Crunch time.

I gotta say
To be fair, I bet Monta has a comparable vertical. It's just that Pietrus is bigger, so it's easier for him to make the spectacular plays. Think about it: at just 6'2, Monta can get his head nearly touching the rim. I mean, come on, that's about as high as a human being can jump.
