Air France

You are clear for landing...

My momma always said timing was everything...hmm.

In basketball, timing is important when it comes to blocking shots, and... also when getting put back dunks on missed shots.

It may have been in a flash in the 4th Qtr.this evening that I saw it.  I really appreciated the timing of... Air France.  And I must say it was a relief to my eyes.

Here are...drumroll...

Things I've Come to Appreciate About A.F.

   - Has the most vert. of any Warrior.
(sorry monta you have great hang-time)

   - Plays agressive defense

   - Has made an effort over the last 2 months
to show off for suitors this off-season.

   - Is a good balance player that gives another dimension to the roster.

Right now, tough to say it..but the Dubs need Air France
and mama says, timing is everything.

No mama jokes please..

ya
Pietrus had the most rest the last 2 weeks skipping the lakers game, and our worst road trip ever. He better have the energy the next few games. Hes gotta be the hustle for the team and play his lockdown defense cause we know Baron won't have the energy and Monta can't seem to anyway.

as long as
air enigma doesnt try to do too much i.e: initiating the offense, dribble drive, forcing the issue against 3 defenders (which jax does too) he will be a POSITIVE contributor off the bench.

Hes a problem when he tries to do too much.  With his basketball IQ, he needs to keep the game as simple as possible.

Full agree mode with Dank & Vonteego
Gets frustrating when too much becomes more turnovers.

Maybe he can dance on the 'trons as well.

0.73 turnovers per game
in 20+ minutes.

The dude does not turn the ball over. I know it is fashionable to talk about all hus turnovers abnd stepping our of bounds but it is just not happening that much. And when does commit a turniver, everybody cries and goes ape-sh*t with "I told you so."

Here something for ya; Jackson, Baron, Monta, Harrington, Biedrins and even Buke have higher turnover rates than Pietrus. He doesn't really create, but it is not like he's always stepping out of bounds or anything.

Believe it or not, besdies Barndan, Pietrus has the lowest turniver rate on the entire team. Certianly the lowest among anyone playing significant minutes. Yes. True.

Welcome to

Air France (I HATE THAT NICKNAME!)
I think he was injured but not missing 9 games injured. He could have come back 4 or 5 games ago if you ask me and last night made it even more clear. He is a great energy player and he brought the crowd to life coming off the bench. With Matt Barnes having a less than stellar season, the Warriors need Pietrus that much more. I am pretty sure that he won't be back with the Warriors next season which is a shame because I really liked watching him play.

Think if you couold put
Jaxs brain in that body and AirFrance would be an Allstar

What?
Jax isn't the smartest player out there. He is turnover prone, he jacks up threes like crazy, and he has a problem with the officials.

Makes you wonder
What kind of player we would have seen if he was given an actual deal this past offseason. Things didn't start clicking for him until there was no hope of getting out of town.
Hopefully him coming back gives us what we need to put Denver behind us and maybe give some R&R to Baron and Jax in the game against Seattle.

to mama
your mama is so fat that when she jump for joy, she got stuck. Sorry couldn't help it.
Petey looks real smooth but is a groin really worth missing 9 games. Kobe is playing with a shooting finger that needs surgery and he plays every night especially when his team needs him. I'm glad he's back so those 2 weeks he should be fresh and ready to go. No excuses now.. Crunch time.

I gotta say
I gotta say, Air France was a highlight reel last night. Great energy plays.

To be fair, I bet Monta has a comparable vertical. It's just that Pietrus is bigger, so it's easier for him to make the spectacular plays. Think about it: at just 6'2, Monta can get his head nearly touching the rim. I mean, come on, that's about as high as a human being can jump.

Interesting article
Not sure if this was ever linked before, but it's an article about MP and tells a bit about his background.
