The victory marked the end of the 12-year professional playing career of Idaho’s Randy Livingston, who spent over a decade in the NBA and the past two years in the D-League. The D-League MVP for 2007 tallied six points in Game 3.
"This is the most amazing way to end," said Livingston. "I remember Jerome Bettis walked out a Super Bowl champion. Any championship is one you relish, one you savor."
Congratulations to the 2008 NBDL Champions the Idaho Stampede!

HA!
How is Randy Livingston allowed to play in the d-league?
Though I applaud the NBA for providing a safety net for vets in entertainment industries that are looking to find the next big thing as soon as possible, how has Livingston, who hasn’t done anything in the pros, allowed to win championships?
Comparing him to Jerome Bettis is pretty hilarious too. I would say my year 2000 college intramural championship bball title ranks as an amazing feat as the superbowl or the nba finals.

Haha
You’re such a hater dogg! Hmmm, wonder how much NBDL championship rings go for on eBay though.

Well it looks like POB will not be Jamin' anymore. I'm sure he doesn't mind. The Jam are the Dubs D-League affiliate, so I'm not really sure what they're going to do with their rookies now.
