The title of this video is "Michael Pietrus Dunks it HARD and get Hurt!!!" It comes from last night's Magic/Pistons game. Pietrus fractured his wrist trying to break his fall, and is now out indefinitely. He already missed 11 games earlier this year due to a fractured thumb. Anyone surprised? Anyone?

It's true that when he was with the Warriors MP2 didn't have the greatest sense of where the out of bounds line was, came back from injuries ridiculously slow, was super streaky, and was a little whiny with his trade demands last season, but I always loved the guy's goofiness and friendly demeanor. Flashy player and a cool cat. Hope he's happy in Orlando.

Those were some good times in Dubs land. MP2's "Happy New Year! Happy New Year!" still cracks me up. 2k6-2k7 was just an unBELIEVABLE season for this franchise and fanbase. It was so amazing that this perpetually clueless organization is STILL profiting off that one spring. Tonight the Dubs take on Patrick O'Bryant and the Boston Celtics (check out CelticsBlog) in Beantown. For all those Nellie haters the past 2 seasons who were constantly whining for him to play POB more, I'd recommend taking a look at the Mullin lotto pick's game log this season.
