you gotta be kidding, right?

Atma, you want another project sitting on Nellie’s bench when we need help? Raw is not what we need so give me Love or give me death if we draft a big man. Unless you were talking second round. Better yet, figure out a way (very wishful thinking) to move up and grab Rose.

CWebb is undoubtedly the answer but I forgot the question.

This Kid Is The ANSWER!

This kid is not a project at all….

He has the skills we’re looking for!

He can score inside and out! He’s got good court vision and also is an energy hustle player. And most of all, he can defend the rim.

He’s standing at 6’10”, 280lbs, with a 7’5” wing span and the kid can simply play. If he’s still available at 14, I would take him.

Sure he doesn’t play in a league that’s as competitive in the NBA, but if a kid has skills and can play, what difference does it really make??? It’s just like football or baseball when it comes to drafting good players, if someone can play in Division II or Division III, they can play in the big leagues!

What impressed me was the fact that he has basic fundamentals you always look for in a big man. He always follows his shots in case he misses them. He boxes out just like a big man should. He uses the triple threat just like Tim Duncan (and I’m not saying he’s The Big Fundamental) and never forces it when he’s in the low post. And he even has a hook shot to go with his offensive repertoire.

Yes the Warriors need a big man and most of them in college are only defensive oriented with tons of energy and hustle. This kid has tons of potential, and already has the skills that we’re looking for offensively and defensively. DRAFT HIM WARRIORS!

Dang I’m trying to post his video here from YouTube but I don’t know how yet…hahaha! Anyways just search, “The Ultimate Nathan Jawai Highlights” and you’ll see what I’m talking about!

Just post a FANSHOT > Video. It’s pretty straightforward to plug in the embed code, but let us know if there’s any issues.

mm

maybe for a second round draft pick. I don’t want to waste our first round on another big that probably won’t see any playing time. Besides we already have Biedrins and Wright that we need to work on.

How do you think he'll compare to Bynum?

Well, he is intersting but obviously seriously unproven. Were the fans of Jawai thining first or second round? Has he been scouted by Draft Exchange or another reliable source since I’m too lazy to look it up? Mainly, though, from my original post, would Nellie play him. If the answer is ‘no”, then what is the point? Clearly we need help now with such a weak bench as demonstrated during the last part of the season.

CWebb is undoubtedly the answer but I forgot the question.

believe it or not

I recently visited cairns, australia, i have family there. And i was lucky enough to watch him play in person, at best he’s going to be a solid roleplayer in this league, he’s very very intelligent for having not played so long. he has a good feel of posting up, knowing when the double team is coming and kicking it out, and his post game is extremely refined. he won’t single handedly fix our problems though, and quite frankly he’s not worth the 14th pick. here’s the fun part: when i went to the game i took my video camera, i taped practically the entire game, the only problem is i’ve had trouble uploading the video onto my computer, if anybody could assist me with that, i would be glad to share all of the footage i made of nathan jawai, i have more footage on my camera i think, than anything else that is available to us.
