Around SBN: Full Coverage Of New York's Victory Celebration

Finally. I know that I am sick of all the flopping going on in the NBA today, even though some of our Warriors are the biggest culprits. I don't know how often the league will fine a player; I'm guessing their going to just use it as a deterrent. I'll pray that it works.

jackson, baron

will have to watch it from now on. They’re the biggest floppers on our team.

Monta and Al take charges so I am not sure how that will affect them.

As I read through the comments

from ESPN readers, I’m amazed at how a noticeable number of readers claim that flopping is actually part of the game. What?!?

Anyway, the punishment has to be more than just fines. I think suspensions for repeated flopping is needed. Otherwise, floppers will continue to flop if it helps them win the game.

What constitutes a flop though?

I agree with the rule in theory, but I think it makes for a lot more player/referee conflict.

It never occurred to me that one man could play with the faith of 50 million.

I think this rule applies to

the most OBVIOUS of flops, no questions asked, no way to refute it, pure theatrics. Like Kirilenko’s flop at Houston to nullify a Houston 3 ptr, and his attempted flop back in Utah when Houston won that road game.

also...

whenever anderson varejao, devin harris, manu ginobili or any big man falls down/tries to take charge…

plus, i think harrington is the dubs’ worst flopper. get up and play some real defense, challenge some shots and stop falling all over the paint.

Flopping Rule will be known as the Derek Fisher Rule

check it out ….it is a fact. Much like the Allan Houston rule.. this rule could end fishers career as it is the only “defense” he plays…..well until they finally start calling his hack and grabs….

it would have ended

flopping fish’s career had he not reunited with his evil empire again.

He just needs to stand still and they would still be on cruise control with the Rapist and Pau in their primes.
