One of these days I will attempt to rate every announcer for EVERY team, but for now, let’s stick with the ESPN/ABC & TNT playoff crews.

Some of my picks
Marv Albert is the legend. His delivery is well paced and he makes everything fit the moment. He always seems to be there on so many historic NBA moments. I think back in the 90’s the arcade game NBA Jam’s announcer was based on Marv Albert.
Mike Breen is energetic and smooth in his play-by-plays and knows how to put some punch in his words at the right times.
Jeff Van Gundy (Mr Ambifootus) is insane fun. He comes up with witty and crazy comments all the time.
