I know this is kind of old but, does it strike anyone else that KG might be a little crazy?

Emotion and passion are one thing but this guy strikes me as a little unbalanced (or possibly under the influence?). I love his intensity on the court but every time I see an interview with him I get the same feeling as when a slightly incoherent homeless person decides to strike up a conversation with you on the street. You know, just a little uneasy, like he might snap at any moment. =P

Definitely "certified"

Still, I love the guy. I get the impression that Paul and Ray have become emotional rocks for him, in addition to complementing his game perfectly. It’s kinda stunning how well put together that team is, both chemistry-wise and talent-wise.

Meanwhile, I like Michelle Tafoya, but this gets my nomination for worst sports interview question of the year:

KG: [exulting] “Top of the woooooorrrrrrllllllld!!!!!!”
MT: “Kevin, what does top of the world feel like?”

Sign ^^^^ !!!

Haha

The expression “quit while you’re ahead” comes to mind. That would have been a nice moment if she would have left it at “TOP OF THE WOOOOOORRLLD!!!”.

The Celtics were definitely a well put together team. I can still remember breaking them down on paper right after the KG trade and thinking these guys have champs written all over them. I wouldn’t have guessed at the time that they would end up being such a stellar defensive team, but that is really a tribute to their single minded focus on winning it all this year. I also have to say that KG’s kinda crazy attitude probably had a lot to do with keeping the other guys on the team sharp.
