Drafting Jerryd Bayless

I don't know why, but it seems that Jerryd Bayless has fallen out of projected Top 10s, at least looking at Chad Ford's big board?  Warriors should trade up to grab this guy, he seems like by far the BPA, which, in my opinion, should be how teams draft.  The love for Russell Westbrook is something I really don't get.  This guy could be a better version of Monta, or, at the very least, a bigger version.  Plus, he can play the point and backup Baron.  Then, later on, sign and trade Monta + others for a solid, veteran, defensively adept big man that we sorely need.

ideally, trade with the Pacers or Nets

what would we trade?

blah

good question…

I would trade our No. 14 and TPE to absorb a bad contract and a slightly higher draft pick, since I’m assuming Bayless falls out of the top 10, which definitely might not happen.

no

he is still the favorite to be drafted by the supersonics.

According to the comminsioner of the nfl, 104 people retired last year. 7 due to age, and the rest because of Patrick Willis

Sonics like Beasley more

And if they can get a trade in place without giving up Durant or Green, they pretty much have to do it. That gives them a sick front court for 10+ years.

Jerryd Bayless?

A Montay in hand is worth two in the bush.

Yes but

Two Montays in the hand is probably better than a DeAndre Jordan in the hand and a Michael Beasley in the bush. Or something like that…

Sign ^^^^ !!!

Seattle got hella picks....

their biggest thing they need is a legit Center than can actual play and has meat on his bones. Sene, Petro all showed some flashes but are far from being polished. Brook would be an ideal pick for them as they have no legit Center.

Bayless can play PG, but they have Luke and Earl (assuming the arnt traded). If he is selected, he is certainly a big upgrade over what they have now.

If we're committed...

to Monta at the SG, then having two mini-me’s in the backcourt probably won’t work. It’s the only reason why that Det/GSW trade is even plausible; one big guard for another big guard.

I’d love to have Bayless nonetheless and I personally think that top 5 is too high for him. I’d rather have Eric Gordon.

if the warriors somehow grab bayless

imma be really excited. i really thought bayless out there in arizona was way better than oj mayo when they were in college and with mullin saying he plans on getting a potential star, why not bayless. im sure nellie can work things out in the back court if we grab him.
