I agree it doesn't make sense

Why would Baron leave 17 mil on the table and opt out? Other stand out PGs like Steve Nash, Tony Parker, and Gilbert Arenas are all making less than him.

My thoughts were that Baron likes being back on the West Coast because of his off court ventures and that he’s closer to his grandma who lives in LA.

I believe Baron isn’t going anywhere.
