BREAKING NEWS: Orlando Magic to Share Bakersfield Jam with Golden State Warriors [The Bakersfield Californian]
It's not a 100% done deal yet, but it looks like the Magic will be co-affiliated with the Dubs' minor league squad next season. This is just great news for Patrick O'Bryant. If he and the Magic come to terms on a deal for 08-09 and beyond, he'll never even have to leave the friendly confines and happening downtown life of B-town! Who knows? Maybe even former Warrior great Adonal Foyle will be Jammin' some time soon as well.
At GSoM we got you covered with all the round-the-clock Warriors D-League action you could ever ask for!

Dumb question, but if the Warrior send down the player, the Magic wouldn’t be able to claim him, right?
It never occurred to me that one man could play with the faith of 50 million.

Correct
The Magic will have no right to claim our player.

Why???
Of all the DLeague teams, why did the Magic choose one so far away?

Anaheim Arsenal
Was the Magic’s D-league team, shared with the Clippers and the Hawks. The D-league added two teams Reno and Erie Bayhawks. The Kings got Reno, don’t know who got the Erie Bayhawks. So I’m thinking the Magic were either just forced into it or they were given two choices and these is the one they chose. The possible other choice would have been the D-league team who had one of their NBA teams picked up Erie, unless that D-league team had 3 NBA teams. They might have been giving the chose of one the two expansion teams. I’m thinking the Magic would rather send players to Cali than Pennsylvania.
