I'll openly admit I hate all things that are Boston sports, but with Powe (Oakland Tech + Cal), Eddie House (Hayward High), and Paul Pierce (born in Oakland) the Celtics have enough Bay Area ties to make me root for them to beat the Lakers in this year's finals.
By the way aren't you glad the Warriors selected Kosta Perovic instead of local favorite and role model Powe? No comment.

gotta give it up for eddie house. hayward high represent.
i found it far too coincidental and sentimental that abc aired that leon powe biography package and he also got sent to the line roughly five times in about three minutes of play despite being a bench warmer, somewhere between glen davis and eddie house, throughout the playoffs.
