+1
Wright/Powe combo could be a very good 4. unfortuantely I think he just solidified his place as fan favorite in Boston too.

Yup
When 20,000 delirious, adoring fans are chanting
LE-ON POWE!
LE-ON POWE!
LE-ON POWE!
At the top their lungs, at the end of an NBA Finals game, I think it’s safe to say your place as a “fan favorite” is solidified.
KInda sucks, ‘cos I, like a lot of people here, have been pining after Powe for forever. He’s probably my favorite player in the NBA, non-Warriors division. I guess there’s always the hope that we could overbid slightly for him and price the Celtics out of contention…

entirely possible
and I wouldnt be totally shocked to seem him choose the Warriors over Boston with the same kind of financial offers on the table. Maybe he wants to stay with a legit contender, maybe he’d rather come home and get more floor time. But I know just about everyone here would love to have him, and I think he might be even more of a fan favorite the day he signs here than he was last night in Boston if thats possible.

That was great
I’m happy for Leon and he is a real class act. Go Powe, remember your roots are still in Oak-town.

Eddie Casa
I think Eddie House only signed a one year in beantown, theres another possibility to off the bench shooting if Mully has any extra cap room to throw at a shooter to spell monte.

Meh
There’s a resemblance, but it’s not striking or anything.
I think JRich is actually closer to Michael Irvin:

Don't Dismiss Leon Powe Because the Lakers' Defense Sucks [ Fanhouse]
Leon Powe Flexes Muscles, Smacks Lakers [Empty the Bench]
You Always Gotta Put A Body On Leon Powe [Deadspin]
I'll openly admit I hate all things that are Boston sports, but with Powe (Oakland Tech + Cal), Eddie House (Hayward High), and Paul Pierce (born in Oakland) the Celtics have enough Bay Area ties to make me root for them to beat the Lakers in this year's finals.
By the way aren't you glad the Warriors selected Kosta Perovic instead of local favorite and role model Powe? No comment.](http://assets.sbnation.com/fan_shot_images/6424/default_small.jpg)
