Who else feels another 12 years till the playoffs?
Personally I don't but it may feel like that much time will pass again without Baron Davis, top 5 point in the league, WAS the best player on the warriors. Baron opting out may have been conceived from 3 possibilities. 1) The owner being a cheap skate like he usually is 2) Mullen not pulling the trigger on either signing Baron or getting a trade that would bring a equally skilled player to the warriors. 3) I heard Nelson had beef with Baron which pisses me off cause Nelson played a part if the warriors failing to reach the playoffs this year.
Not only was Baron Davis leaving the Warriors as the best player lower the Warriors chances of being a successful team but his absence from the roster made a division rival that we were originally better then that much better. This only adds to the West's already dominate list of teams.
What the Warriors are now lacking player wise is a REAL DOMINATE big man, and a dominate point. We have to get both if we even hope of getting into the playoffs again.
If there is any upside to Baron leaving please post cause I really can't think of any.

12 years - no way
If Mullin is right about the potential of Randolph, Wright, and Monta – then I say we are back in two years.
This upcoming year we will struggle but these guys will learn a ton and hopefully develop quickly. Then we either get a good PG in the draft or make a big splash in free agency in the off season and then the following year (2010) we just miss playoffs and in 2011 we get to the second round.
Consider this – if Wright becomes even 80% of what Chris Bosh is and Randolph can be 70% of what Pippen was and Monte continues to improve (70% of Iverson in his prime) then that is a kick ass threesome. Add a good pg or big time free agent and we are legit once again.
Anyway, this is what Mullin is banking on! Although – Mullin’s instincts are looking pretty lame at the moment.
