Why not go for Felton?
I dont know if someone has said this already so my bad if they have. But i think the warriors should go after Felton. Why is this man being so over looked? Hes solid and has good court vision. If the Clippers sign Okafor the cats will be in need of a power/center. So i propose that if the warriors get turiaf we should try and trade him and Al to the cats for Felton and Mohammed. Maybe someone else so that sals match. Hell we could even throw mags in there and try to get J-Rich back. Lol.

I like it
I live just north of Charlotte, so I get to see Felton quite a bit. I’ve always said that I don’t see him as a starting point guard for a championship team, but I think he would provide a nice solution for GSW’s current PG issues.
Felton struggled when he was being bounced around from PG to SG and forced to play in the same starting backcourt as Jeff McInnis. Late in the season when he was turned loose to play PG with reckless abandon with a floor-stretching Matt Carroll at the 2 and J-Rich at the 3, he was actually pretty good. In the last month and a half of the season, his scoring was up and he had more double-digit assist games during that stretch than he had up to that point.
As big a critic as I have been of Felton’s outlook on being a top-tier PG in the NBA, I think his game is designed more for this sort of offense than the lumbering mess that Jordan is building in Charlotte. If there’s a system where he can succeed and move into top-tier status, it is Golden State’s.

For the love of God!
You can’t sign and trade guys like that. Sign and trades work for a team’s own free agents, but a team cannot just sign a guy and then ship him off to somewhere else
Also, Nazr makes more than Turiaf by himself, so it’s impossible with the cap (assuming Monta and Beans, you know, come back)

Newly signed free agents cannot be traded immediately. Turiaf is unlikely to traded soon (provided that he ever actually arrives, given that it’s not clear that the Lakers will not match).
