Eddie House???

what do you guys say about bringing Hayward product Eddie House back home to the bay as a back up point guard? i know what you guys are thinking.. he's not a point guard right? well i think he fits our system and brings that instant offense off the bench. he has deeeeeep range so he'll keep the defense honest and give other guys like monta, jack and maggette room to operate without having the defense collapsing on them. he'll be an improvement over cj watson.

he would

be an improvement over C.J. but if they were to sign him i don’t think it would necesarily be as the primary backup point guard because they need a guy who has been a starter before that could teach and mentor monta, maybe like idk Jason Williams.

I hate anyone who

wears knee high socks, bad look and he is nothing more than a spot up jump shooter.
Nice idea but we need a guy who can dribble the ball.

House

I’ve always liked to watch the guy play, but I don’t think that he really fixs the lack of ball handling in the backcourt. We do actually need more 3pt shooting IMO so if we can get him cheap I’d take a look.

He’s not a point guard

I agree we need a better ballhandler, but we do also need another shooter, especially if Al is dealt so he wouldnt be the worst option.

I was thinking about this too.

He’s a real good shooter, and that’s what the Dubs love.

i would like to have house for back up

but i dont think mullin cares as much as we do in bringing in a bay area product. picking kosta instead of powe, hendrix over hardin, and more

i pass on house. we do need more shooters but that gives us 3 guys that are the same size. buike would be a better option

Good player

I think we would have to overpay to get him. I don’t think it’ll be worth it.

nahhh....

this guy isnt a point gaurd. He’s a more caught and shoot player that has capable PG skills but would be the ideal backup. If we do get a backup PG, we should strongly look at Anthony Johnson. He did well as in ATL when started.

another name not mentioned much

CJ Miles? he hasnt played much point thus far in his career, but I believe there was some discussion he could develop into a combo guard when he entered the draft. He’s still very very young (20 or 21 I believe) and has shown good range and has been a pretty solid defender in his limited minutes. He’s restricted so Utah may match whatever we offer, but its worth a shot and they have a bit of a mess cap-wise.
