The Baron did what is best for HIM...
And I don't blame him. First of all, it is NOT like he openly asked to be traded or openly stated he wants to play for the Clippers. I am also sure that he meant what he said when he stated he "will honor the remaining of his contract as a WARRIORS". UNTIL, the opportunity to go back to L.A. was presented to him. Can you blame him for making that decision? Of course not.
Secondly, the Baron gave it his all when he was a WARRIORS. Matter of fact, he was the only WARRIORS who played all 82 games last year. So what does that tell us fans? He cared and he meant business.
I was upset myself when I found out. But when the dust settled and I put myself in his position, I WOULD HAVE DONE THE SAME THING. He is going back where he always wanted to be. His heart is in L.A. and after his tenure in the NBA, his future is in the L.A. area. So what is wrong with that?
The right thing to do is thank him for the good memories and wish him the best. The only thing I want from him is a REFUND for buying his jersey....LOL !!!
Remember, you take care of yourself first, then you can take care of others. You do what is best for you. Life is too short, don't worry be happy.
Cheer him on when he gets back at the Oracle Arena. Afterall, he was one of the reasons why ORACLE became the loudest arena in the NBA. LET'S GO DUBS!

P.S.,
If someone offered you the same job (you’re doing now) at a place where you always want to be, would you decline it? I thought so.

This thread
came a week too late. Many W’s fans are looking forward to see what can be done instead of looking back and getting mad.

still a great post...
how bout it fellas…the guy pretty much carried our team in a playoff run that brought so much joy to the league and all of us fans. Let give him the j-rich treatment, and, even more. I will be cheering my ass off because I appreciate all that he did for the franchise. Plus, even Mulling admitted they weren’t gonig to resign him after next year, and that they didn’t offer him a contract when he opted out, so what was the guy suppose to do?

I don't blame him either.
It was a business/personal decision. In fact, it brings a positive attitude in LA for young kids and it gives them somebody to look up too. Maybe one day, Jordan Farmar can do the same for LA kids.
Who I am fairly pissed off with is Matt S. from the SF Chronicle because at a party, that jerk told me Baron wasn’t going to leave.
