...and a bag of chips
One reason I like these off season moves is that we are going to have a lot of guys playing their hearts out because of the many chips found on the collective shoulders...
Turiaf wants to prove he is more than a cheerleader - however, this guy plays with so much passion he doesn't need another motivation. Heard him on KNBR and he sounds great - I like how he hopes to make Biedrins job easier so Andris can be a star -thats a great attitude to bring in.
Williams wants to justify his draft pick status and probably wants to enjoy the game the way he did at UConn - gs is a great place for that.
Mo Evans just looks pissed all the time. Not sure if he has a chip in his shoulder per se but he plays each minute on the floor like he may not be out there again for some time.
Maggette is leaving the Clippers - a team that players leave and ALWAYS are happy to get a rep on another team so nobody associates them with the Clips. My hope is that his demeanor (not looking too happy to be here) has more to do with being on the clips and isn't just who he is.
Anthony Randolph was TRASHED by espn "experts" in the mock drafts. he has a huge chip on his shoulders because he feels he should have been a higher draft pick.
On the current roster - Monta will want to be an all star and will want to prove the naysayers he can play the point. Perhaps the most important chip that will determine our success.
Bellinelli and Wright also have chips on their shoulders - for obvious reasons.

maggette
just wanted to say that Maggette actually called the clippers and asked if they wanted to match golden state’s offer of 10 million but the clips turned it down. So its more the clippers not wanting maggette then maggette tryin to desperately leave the clippers. Maggette doesn’t really fall into the category of those kind of players u mentioned above

You made our point. The Clippers dissed Maggs so he is going to want to kick their sorry sad team.
Plus you od not know this is true. The Clippers are by far the sorriest franschise in the history of the league so the odds are he was very happy to come north and play for a good team and great fans!

Read the article
It says it on there. I know it hurts that he would rather stay and play for “the sorriest franchise in the history” than go to the warriors but im just stating the facts.

There's no way the Clips could justify that
They’d be tying up 30M in two players who do not play down low. They were still looking to sign Brand and they’d given up their rights to Maggette for that purpose. End of story.

im starting to BELIEVE
the more and more time goes on the more i believe that the warriors have a shot at being a playoff team and for nelson there will be no excuse this year to not play our bench because i believe it is a very good one our season will depend on how nelson coaches/ subsititutes his players, and on marcus williams and how much he can develope cuz i believe that he can be a deron williams and wat an amazing future that could be

So we now have the "Golden State Chippy's?"
Nice….I remember when Ellis got hit hard one game….he came out fighting and lit the court up!
I like the way the team is looking and I hope and pray we are keeping Monta and Beans, ideally I would have liked us to keep Buike as well…
Again though…no one is talking about it….what is happening to Croshere? I thought he played really solid for us last year and had the experience to lift the youngsters when things went tough…anyone know?
It's about heart, It's about fight, It's about being a Warrior!

Cro has had back issues and he's old
He’ll be paid vet minimum wherever he goes. I hope he stays here too if we have the roster spots.

Chip this!
The Dubs should have a chip on their shoulders. They missed the f’ing Playoffs while winning 48 f’ing games! I’d be bitter too. Hell, I’m still bitter. Go kick some arse Dubs!
