Is Maurice Evans gambling with Mully? and ...
could this lead to a Buike signing?
The Dubs have until Friday midnight to make a decision on Buike. if Evans waits until after the deadline, he stands to make a lot more cash (I think he is taking a major risk). Will the Dubs then say, "why pay Evans as much as Buike when we know for sure what we get with Buike?" or do they say NO to both then look elsewhere? Thoughts

Mullin already said
it’s either / or. They thought they had a deal with Evans, he agreed. Then back out, saying he wanted more money. If he wont take close to what the warriors offered him by Friday, then yes, he will match Buike.

True, but i think
its just the way the interview was transcribed. What I think he meant is it will be either or it will be or. Just pointing out it’s not going to be and.

Why wait, I’d sign BuKaki right now and invite Evans to watch.

Because sadly..
The owner prefers the cheaper option if possible. That’s why Evans will only get the deal if he stays around what they already offered.

When and Where . . .
. . . did Mully say that. I never had about a “mystery” player. Mystery sounds like a big name and we ain’t got no money for big names.

this might help
* Mullin said no final agreement has been reached with free agent Maurice Evans and no decision has been made whether to match Kelenna Azubuike’s three-year, $9.3M offer from the Clippers (deadline is Friday); Mullin agreed that it’s probably an either/or/or situation involving Evans, Azubuike or possibly another wing.
MORE
“We’re having dialogue with a few people, and (Evans) is one of them,” said Mullin, who said that a wing signing would fill the roster. Evans and Azubuike “are similar players, as are the other guys” with whom the Warriors are talking. “That one more guy would probably be it.”

it was a joke
we both know that
1 we dont have the cap room to make such a move
2 even if we did have the $$$ the odds of a deal like that happening would be really slim. like bw or ar slim :)

I would
say no to anyone that costs $$ and just look for somewhere else. mo evans isn’t gonna put us “over the top” to be a playoff team.
