Rod Benson on the Suns Summer League Roster
I know getting signed to play in the Summer League isn't such a big deal...but this came as a big surprise to me. Benson would have been a nice backup to Al Harrington/BWright at the 4, depending on who Nelson started.

it would be nice if BOOM GOT DEM DOS
was here buh i think the management dont care about home town players with the exception of demarcus nelson this year. we skip powe for freakin perovic, pass on hardin forhendrix, so i dont think they put that into prespective

I am in no way defended Kosta, but we did already have Ike when Powe Show was on the board so picking Leon would have duplicated someone we already had at the time. And Hardin hasn’t improved in 3 years.

Even so
from a pure talent standpoint, Boom would be a nice pickup. He’s a long, agile, athletic forward who (I think) led the D-League in rebs last season.
On another note, having a Boom in the house would ease the pain of losing Boom-Dizzle.
