Cuban have about Nellie. Nellie keeps getting the best of him. The playoffs, this and so on. You can tell Cuban takes it all very personal anytime he talks about anything dealing with Nelson.

Laugh all you want, but Cuban was one of only two owners to vote no on the Sonics jacking, so I respect him too much to do that. I know he gets annoying when he is behind the players yelling at the ref and into the game, but if he was our owner we’d have nothing but love. He’s gotta be the best owner in sports.

Screw Cuban

I was coming back from a Warriors Mavs game during the 2006/2007 season and was listening to the radio after the game. Apparently during halftime, Cuban tried to follow the Mavericks into the locker room, but one of the Warriors security guards stopped him from going in. Cuban started yelling at the security guard and asked “Do you know who the fuck I am”. After hearing that story and the way he’s treated Nelson, I just think he’s an arrogant asshole. Congrats to Nellie on getting 6 mil from that POS.

Do you think this will impact his decision about whether or not he wants to coach again after this season?

Even though hes getting old, that doesnt mean he doesnt care about making some money…so it would be plausible that he coaches for one more year after this one..but now that he just made more than what he could make in a year coaching, maybe he’ll now be more inclined to retire…

Nellie should

coach one more year after this season to claim the top spot on the Winningest Coach list (regular season). Lenny Wilkens has 1332. Second is Nellie with 1280. A 53-win season is a bit of a stretch to break the record this year. BTW, Pat Riley is not far behind with 1210. Keep coachin’ Nellie. Your first NBA title is in the works…
