Did anyone else hear it? Baron stating that he is playing with the Golden State Warriors this year? Baron on 1050AM just a minute ago talking to whomever. And he was saying, should I write this down with a pencil or a pen?
My friend even called me after he heard it...
What is going on????
Was that old, or did that just happen? I know it wasn't a dream. Were we alone in hearing this?

20/20 hindsight
not playing with anyones emotions on this one, he was talking to Dan Patrick, and Dan Patrick was freaking out… saying “are you kidding? are you lying to me? should I write this down with a pen or pencil” Baron said, a pen, I will be playing in Golden State this year.
So… conclusion… one of two things… WAS anyone listening this morning to 680, when someone said… If Brand signs Philly or Golden State, Baron will probably resign with the Warriors. The strange thing that he did say was “not that I have heard this from anyone or anything, so dont quote me”.... I think there was some inside information this morning too… looking back, hindsight is 20/20
I am looking for confirmation, ANYWhere on the net. I will let everyone know if I find it.

thats funny. everything backfires and boomfizzle and now he wants to run back to gs. no loyalty and no integrity. how guttless kinda like his perfomance towards the end of the season. i say we low ball him now and call his bluff. we have the ball in our court now and he has nowhere else to go.

What a joke
There is no way that this is true! He’s already verbally committed to the clips and said his goodbye’s to the bay. Whether brand stays in LA or goes, Baron got his long term deal (Which the warriors wouldnt match) and he’s back at home in LA. Let’s just let it go and fight thru the nausea of seeing him on the clips next season.

Classic case of people hearing bs on the radio. It was a replay of of his interview week before last stating that he was going to play out this year in the bay area. He and Brand will be suiting up for the Clipps fellas.

Did he say he would be playing for Golden State ?
Or did he say he will be playing inGolden State

Forgetting Baron Davis
after all that drama—there was a little catharsis for me when i finally came to turns with it and am over it. if it actually comes back i dont know how i would deal.
who’s seen the movie “forgetting sarah marshall”. its pretty much exactly the same-i am over baron and have moved onto the other possibilities in the current and future FA market.
baron no longer excites me—if you know what i mean ; )

The Clippers do not have any plans to alter their verbal agreement with Baron Davis in order to sign Elton Brand for a sixth year, according to Janny Hu of the San Francisco Chronicle.
The franchise would prefer to let Brand sign with the Warriors or Sixers and simply go in a different direction with their cap space.

are you sure it wasnt the one they replayed from a radio station in or near LA where the host asked Baron if he was going to stay and he said that he would fullfill his contract with the Warriors?

the clip you heard was from the dan patrick show several weeks ago before the draft, i believe 2 weeks prior. it was played because patrick was wondering whether or not baron had lied to him, since obviously in the clip hes stating his unconditional love for GS, then 2 weeks later opts out and agrees verbally to join La. this isnt breaking news

okay, i dont want to get anyones emotions in a twist, I made a mistake… however, some good optimism from Mr. T on 680 saying that he thinks he will resign with Warriors.
I think its a bunch of fans, hoping and wishing, and confusing me.
We all shall see tomorrow.
