REPORT: Pietrus to sign with Orlando Magic
http://www.nba.com//news/Magic_Sign_Pietrus_080708.html
I'm happy for Pietrus, and for the Warriors. By adding Maggette, it really did make him all the more expendable. No more possessions lost because Mickael stepped out of bounds! We seem to be stockpiled with forwards and shooting guards, now if we could just get a steady point guard I will be very happy with this summer. Some might say we are overpaying Maggette, but the guy fits Nellie's system and he gets to the line like a maniac.

Matt Barnes won’t be back either, at least that’s what Nellie says.
Barnes at this point really would be a waste of money in my opinion
He may be a fan fav for some. But teh smart move is not following your heart with that move. Let him go and move on.

Someone said it earlier
And I have been thinking about it a lot. Maybe signing Maggette was just so that the Dubs could trade him for Billups. Detroit expressed interest in trading Billups, they wanted Maggette, Maggette will get his money, and the Pistons like Stuckey
Believe when signing players from other teams
you cant trade them right away. Sign and trade’s can be done with your own players. Not positive on the rule though.
