Bob Fitzgerald at the Olympics!!!!

Was anyone aware of this? Right now Bob Fitzgerald is doing a Mens Water Polo match between Croatia and Italy on MSNBC. His name wasn't mentioned by the studio host or himself, but I can recognize his voice. Sadly, Jim Barnett is not doing commentary. :-(

Damn that’s a random sport for Bob to be doing, though. I’m so used to him talking about the Warriors all the time, it would be awkward hearing him saying all those water polo terms and whatnot.

zorgon you beat me to it this. but hey hes doing olympics awesome! and at this moment hes doing female water polo. man weird hes doing this but he does not do any like national coverage for other networks, maybe one day he will be on tnt, and hopefully not ESPN!

So I don't have a signature well these words would do! Who knew that upgrades can have downgrades too!

Yeah, I just recognized his voice today while watching USA versus ITA men’s water polo. It must be an honor to be asked to do the commentary for international matches, especially at the Olympics.

It never occurred to me that one man could play with the faith of 50 million.

He’s doing all womens and mens water polo games. I’ve even heard some of his famous phrases, such as “mark it down with three minutes left in the 4th period….”
