NBA To Allow Online Streaming Of Games

According to Sports Business Journal (<a href="http://www.sportsbusinessjournal.com/article/59753">Link</a>), the NBA is working on allowing the teams to stream their local games online.  It looks like only people living in the area of the Team will be able to do this, but that can be easily worked around usually :)

Comcast is mentioned, but it is unclear if it will be free or not.

Would you be willing to pay to watch the Warriors?  And would you want just the game stream or the CSN version with the commentators?

Personally, I hope they allow you to view older games and not just live streaming.  Also, I think they should make it free and just show ads - we can always switch to gsom reading during them :)

If its anything like summer league streaming,

then screw it. Really bad quality and cant make out anyone. If its broadcast quality, i.e. close-ups, angle changes, slow motion replays then hell yeah i’d be down.

hmmm

I have a feeling this will end up being poor quality as mentioned above and never avialable to non-local viewers because imagine the server size and bandwidth the NBA would need to broadcast all games live all over the world.
this sounds a really lame idea that will disappear in a couple weeks.

..

this sounds good but they should try and work something out for out of market fans as well….MLB has their MLB TV which, for 15 bucks a month, u can watch any streaming game live. watching a game on TV is always better but for half the price of league pass, streaming them online would be a nice option to have
