Trade Proposal For Warriors, Heat, and Bobcats
I have done a trade on real gm's trade tracker that fills each teams needs and fits in the salary cap provisions.
l
ook on the bottom for another trade i thought of

the trades ID # is #4757630 if you want to see it but i will tell you the details at realgm.com
The heat would receive Nazr Mohamed and Kosta Perovic thus solving their needs at center. they would trade udonis haslem to us and daequan cook to the bobcats.
the bobcats would recieve cook and al harrington. they would send jared dudley and sean may to us. they would get a nice complement to emeka okafor as they are opposites that play each others games well and a nice backup to j rich who still has potential to develop into more than that.
the W's overall receive sean may, jared dudley, and udonis haslem and we would give up al harrigton and kosta perovic. This would give us some beef down low with haslem and may and a sharp shooter in dudley with size to play the power forward in nelsons system in some occasions.
Please comment and give your oppinions on this trade proposals.
Also i came up with a good trade ian mahinmi for belli. mahinmi is a great low post prospect who could eventually be ur center or pf in a couple of years. i am not sold on branden wright still.
This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

we get an inside presence in haslem
an expiring contract in sean may and a sharp shooter who can nail down threes with good potential to become a solid role player/ starter in a couple of years when branden, biedrins, monta, bellinelli, and randolph are in their primes or have started reaching more of their potential. haslem would fix our rebounding problem that turiaf cant because he has a rebounding rate much like harrington. this is a good trade for all parties and especially the warriors.

"Nail down threes"
You mean like, a grand total of 9 in his NBA career? Out of 41 attempts? 22%?
Haslem is marginally a better rebounder than Turiaf, but he’s marginally worse overall: smaller, less active on D, not nearly as good a shotblocker, less efficient from the floor
This trade will have about as much consequence for any of the three teams involved as if my cat decides to yawn, sit in the sun, or play with his catnip toy.

thanks for clearing that up for me
i was honestly thinking that i had jared dudley confused with someone else when i read that initially and was giving the trade the benefit of the doubt, you know, in case jared dudley was a future superstar that i didn’t know enough about because he was in charlotte. as it turns out, it was the same jared dudley that is a mediocre swingman. on a team where the wing positions are our deepest, there is absolutely zero reason to make this trade now.

Heat would get greatly shortchanged. Haslem is their man when marion is gone.

only the bobcats would make this trade
the heat are definitely getting the worst of it, but i don’t like this deal for the warriors either. may would never see the floor, and haslem doesn’t really fill any needs for the warriors. he might be an improvement over turiaf, but not a big enough improvement to justify shipping al out. i don’t know enough about dudley to say exactly what he brings to the table, if someone can tell me that he will be a very good player this year and would see a substantial amount of playing time, then maybe the warriors consider it, but i just don’t like it at first glance.

it works cuz the heat are desperate for a center
and for the bobcats cuz they are desperate to rid of nazr and they get a great fit next to okafor

and we get beef down low
and an expiring contract and a promising player in dudley

it makes our "post" weaker
i had to throw post in quotes because it’s a obviously a stretch to call al a post player, but he does play the power forward and i’d rather have him on the team than haslem. sean may would not play on this team. it wouldn’t happen. so we give away a better player in al harrington to get a worse player in udonis haslem, an even worse player in sean may, and jared dudley who would get to back up stephen jackson, corey maggette, and kellena azubuike. that doesn’t even factor in that monta will play some sg when marcus is on the floor, so i don’t see dudley playing much either. so essentially, the warriors give up al harrington for udonis haslem. harrington at least gives teams an interesting look, and when we want a more traditional pf on the floor, we can play turiaf. i just don’t see why the warriors would do this deal.

I think it's called "a homeless man's carmelo anthony"
I got it from the sports guy, who probably got it from somewhere else… good way of saying it though. “Adonal Foyle is a homeless man’s Ben Wallace”

with that many "very"s, we’d have to call him a “dead man’s carmelo anthony.”

Chris Dudley is retired, living in suburban Portland and hitting about as many FTs.
Jared Dudley was an adequate NBA backup as a rookie last year. He was a good rebounder as a SF. He showed enough promise to get average reserve minutes for the Bobcats. He’s neither great nor horrible.

What does that even mean?
Is he whiter than Dunleavy? Does he dance like Mark Madsen? Does he say things like “shucks” and “awww… fiddlesticks”?
Oops… I think I just offended the white people. I must now appologize for my complete insensitiveness to the white man’s insecurities. I hope my comments don’t get posted on Blazers Edge…

Dudley shops at Target
I met him there once, in a Portland area Target. He kept trying to buy kitchen accessories but everytime he reached for something it would fumble out of his hands.
He got a hot dog and had too much bun and not enough dog, so he tried to throw the bun away but was wiiiiiiiiiiiiide right of the garbage can. Way off.
I did really meet him there when I was a kid, so at least that part is true. Dudley was useful but noooot worth the trouble he caused (the Blazers took advantage of a cap loophole to get Dudley and overpay him— and why? I dunno, I was a kid).
