Development of our Players

As i have been watching the warriors the past few years we played as if it was a win now attitude. But looking at the roster i never believed we were contending for the finals.What i saw was a good team overachieving with the talent we had. Now i suggest we should try to develop our young players and teaching them how to develop their skills and fundamentals and not banish them on the bench. We saw what happened with monta when we played him and developed him well. granted monta worked his way to his skill level at the moment but look what happened to patrick o'bryant. we burried him on the bench and gave up on him after a season. we didnt even pick up his 3rd year option. we knew he was a project so why would we have drafted him then. andris was not very promising in his first two seasons. then he flourished. we can not afford for branden and/or marco to be busts. they will need to develop in the next 2-3 years before i can judge them. Turiaf is only 25 i believe. he could develop more in the next 2-3 years before he reaches his prime. lets develop them. andris is the one who should develop most. he has a low skill set at the moment. but great work ethic and athletisism have let that stray away. if we have andris being guarded by turiaf in practice and cant score 1 on 1 at least 4 times coach nelson should hire nate thurmond to teach him like kareem did with andrew bynum. i also believe we help azubuike on his ball handling and shooting with sidney moncrief. all of these approaches will help us in the future.

Now with our veteran players we should try to play them to their highest value and trade one or two for a nice asset for the future. I believe Al and Corey would be able to this . i dont know who would take them and what pieces we would get. all i know is our future is in the core of monta, randolph, and biedrins
