They’ll respond in, like 4 hours, with the official rules. At this point, they should just create a webpage for it and paste a link to it every time they have to inform someone.

last week I tried posting ESPN’s link to Vincent Askew’s sex scandal story but the mods deleted it. In it, I shared my memories watching VA…not really sure why it was deleted as I was only helping “spread the news”…

the other day they (whoever) deleted a fanpost by a guy introducing himself

It was nice fanpost by a Duck fan up in Oregon and there were some light-hearted posts about favorite college teams within the thread. And it got deleted!!!

This like the third time a perfectly decent thread that I’ve commented on has been deleted.

Part of the reason I come here is to banter, make friends, and meet other warrior fans and I don’t see why every fanpost has to meet this high standard of analysis. Why can’t there be thread by people introducing themselves? It would be one thing if nobody was commenting on it, but when you delete a thread that his multiple posts by people who are engaged in discussion with each other, you’re just being RUDE!

If they didnt delete any post there would be probably over a post a day that is completely stupid. I understand why no post are that great right now because its not bball season and nothing is happening, but dont try to force one. A trade for Dwight Howard, thats just dumb, there is no financial and reasonable way that we could get him. . . . keep dreaming. So next time ur fanpost got deleted dont right another one about why it got deleted or tell us what ur deleted one was about, it got deleted for a reason, BECAUSE IT WAS STUPID.

Maybe, just maybe, your analysis belonged as a comment in the fanshot. It seems like you posted a duplicate of another person’s fanshot and added some commentary. So… if somebody posts a DHoward trade that looks good, am I supposed to post that same trade with my own commentary as a new fanpost? No, if you have a comment about something, put it in an existing thread about that something. Starting a new thread is either plagarism or egotism. Both of which are grounds for deleting. For instance, if you want to comment about the 2009 draft, there’s a thread for that already.

you could just work in a random phrase and add an exclaimation point, and see if it catches on. here are a couple suggestions: “not on my dancefloor!” “this oven is closed!” “kick off the shoes, dickface!” or “hardcore trampled!”

I like the first two

The third uses dirty language. The fourth uses big words, a big no-no when trash talking because often the recipient won’t understand them and they’re harder to say in the heat of the battle.

I’ve always been a fan of ones that sort of make sense at first pass, but make absolutely no sense when you actually think about what the words actually mean. This is why I love “this oven is closed!”, I hope you don’t mind if I use it.

If you still have difficulty putting whole sentences together, depending on your age, I suggest either attending a writing class at adult school or getting your parents to proofread your stuff. Speaking of adult schools… they have great, cheap classes for everything. Any recommendations out there? The Boston adult school teaches a class on how to get into the voiceover business… out there, but cool.

Hell, the largest country in the world is communist, this site should too I guess. What ever happened to freedom of speech and expression? There are so many douche bags on this site, half the things they say should be deleted, but they aren’t in the spirit of the 1st amendment. Now why certain posts get deleted for things such as slander and libel are one thing, but just because the “quality of writing” isn’t on par with say Atma Brother or Fantasy Junkie doesn’t mean they should be deleted.
