Monta injured for 3 to 4 months...what to do till then.

So the Warriors just lost the instant scorer Monta Ellis due to a high ankle sprain. He'll be out for a few months wish all fans know is way to long in a NBA season. What should the organization do during the time Monta is out? Should we just wait till he gets back and to 100% which should take a couple of months depending on how bad the injury was, OR SHOULD WE GET A TRADE GOING?! First I'm going to see how the team does without Monta for the first 6 games. If we start off with another 6 game losing streak that would only bring the team's morale down and their performance would suck until Monta returns not at full strength. If the team is at least .500 or above I would let the team keep playing till Monta comes back. If we are below .500 I think we need to start a trade. I say we trade Harrington just because he hasn't been living up to the expectations the team thought he was capable of so he would be an obvious trade choice. Another guy I think would be good in a package with Al would be Maggette. We have plenty of talented players in the 2 guard position so why did we need another one and why did we over pay him? I'd say trade both players individually  or separately  as long as we either get  a legit  nba star, a legit BIG MAN, or a really good playmaker point. YEAH I HEARD THE POSTS AND EVERYTHING "MONTA IS THE POINT GET OVER IT" whatever. His a 2 guard he'll always be a 2 guard. Look at Allen Iverson they gave him a point in Denver and he started playing better. We need to make a move soon because I got kind of used to this winning thing and I'd rather see the team make a move that will help the team win then see them go back to the 30 win team they used to be.

TANK THE SEASON

be realistic here.. we’re done this season.. does anyone here really want another 12th – 14th pick in the draft? draft some ‘potential’ again? The dubs should either trade for j-smoov or tank the season… and ellis jersey’s should be half price, and so should tickets to the home games…

we should

ummm go to sleep like a bear hibernate not see the 3-4 months acutally season cause his injury it would take hima while to get back to 100% and not remember any of it at all. at least we are not ignoring them just sleeping them off. Dam just to think everything was starting to look good again and its all going down hill. maybe all this pessimism will work like it did b4 and make them great cause thats how i look at life these days because if you think bad will happen and something good happens if feels 1000000000X better!

So I don't have a signature well these words would do! Who knew that upgrades can have downgrades too!

i agree

you said it right gswllbatman. i got used to loving seeing this team play for the past seaon and a half and will do anything to keep it that way. i like the idea of trading maggette and al, even if they play good for us. on another note, i think marcus williams will do a good job at the point while montas out, so good in fact that when monta returns he can go back to his natural 2 position.
