I was so happy when I found this. Now I just want to watch the other games. IO'm gonna have to go look for those games too. I'm gonna go watch the game in a few seconds but I need to fill out those damn 75 words. Damn I'm excited to watch this game right now. Let's check if I got 75 words.
This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

ugh
We got killed by the refs during that game. I remember when the Mavericks were comin back, the Warriors couldn’t get the lead again because of crap calls. J-Rich got smacked on the arm while attempting a three pointer and it caused him to airball, there was no foul called; Jason even fell into the crowd after that contact too. Also another play, when the ref was closely watching Stackhouse and Richardson fighting for the ball… J-Rich ended up getting the ball and when he handed the ball to Baron, the ref quickly blew the whistle (to call a jumpball) to prevent Baron from doing anything. How the hell do you call a jumpball like 2 seconds after the player already got the ball?
Also, Baron was playing with 5 fouls… Josh Howard got a rebound. After the board, J-Ho leaned forward and put his arms around the ball to protect it.. Baron quickly went behind him to get ready to go for the ball and then the ref called a 6th foul on Baron hella quick to get him out of the game. Baron barely touched Howard too.
There was so many calls that game man, kinda pissed me off. Although I can’t complain because it was much better seeing the Warriors finish that series at the Oracle. I did love some parts in that Game 5 though, geeeeez the Dallas crowd sucks. They were quiet the whole time the Warriors were making their comeback, lol; they wait for something to happen, instead of helping to make something happen.
Gotta love Barnes dunking on Harris to gain the lead, and Baron’s looong alley-oop to Jason Richardson to shut the Dallas crowd up. good times, good times.

The
Boom and J-Rich show was some of the best PG+SG combo to watch. The athleticism of that team was incredible……nothing like it.

Please let me know if you can find Game 3!!
That was one of my favorite games. I remember there was a play where the players were all over the floor trying to get the ball, the Warriors were RUNNING a fastbreak while they were trying to get the ball. Baron stole it and gave an outlet pass as he fell down. J-Rich got a handle on the loose ball and did like a backwards pass as he fell on his ass, and then Monta got in but got fouled. If Monta finished that play, that would have been one of the best playoff plays in NBA history. The thing that really made it golden was one of the announcers literally got out of his seat and screamed hella loud when J-Rich made that pass. I don’t think i’ve ever seen an announcer go crazy like that in a game before, his headset came off and you can hear the static from the mic falling down.
CELEBRITY FANS. It was great seeing all those celebs come out to support. All the other NBA fans were surprised to see that a “loser” team had all these celebs coming to their game as if they were the Lakers or something. But we all know that a majority of them were only there because of Baron Davis. I doubt we’ll see Jessica Alba or Kate Hudson at a Warriors playoff game again.
Oh yeah, and if would have been great if J-Rich still had his crazy hops during that year. If he did his signature ‘360 windmill’ dunk in Oracle, the crowd would have gone crazy. The dunk would have been in highlight reels for years to come. An 8th seed coming out of no where balling on the 1st seed that won like 26 more games than them. Hella dunking on the Mavericks, all those crazy three’s. pwnt.

I think that was Game 2.
That’s because Stephen Jackson just went onto the court to hold back his teammates, yet the refs still called a technical foul on him. I guess it’s because the refs thought he was trying to start a fight, knowing his reputation and all. Jackson was just mad that he got a ‘T’ for running on the court when there were several other Warriors/Mavericks that ran up and didn’t get any consequences.
Baron was also mad because he got a technical when he felt he didn’t deserve it. Stephen Jackson fouled Jason Terry, and after the whistle Terry kept dribbling down the court, both Baron and Matt Barnes tried to get the ball from him. Baron took a reach at the ball, and then once Matt took a swipe at it Jason Terry got all emo and wanted to start something. Terry ran up to Baron acting all hardcore, and Barnes was laughing at Terry the whole time. Devin Harris ran up to Baron alongside Terry and the both of them were talking crap to Baron; during the WHOLE TIME Baron was QUIET and didn’t say anything back.
Once Stephen Jackson and the refs split the teams up, Baron and Jackson both went to the scores table, keeping their cool and not trying to start something. Again, Baron was still quiet and didn’t want to say anything to warrant a technical. All of a sudden, you hear the announcer say, “technical foul on Baron Davis and Stephen Jackson”. Later on Baron Davis got his second technical for clapping; the ref was a pussy and couldn’t handle any players disagreeing with his call.
The thing with that game is that it got a lot of Warriors fans heated. It was the beginning of the whole “Charles Barkley vs. the Bay Area” hype. At halftime during Game 2, Chuck guaranteed that “when the Mavericks beat the Warriors in Game 2, Dallas will win the rest of the games in the series and advance to the next round”.
He was hella confident and sure about it too, hella releasing his anger. He was so mad in Game 1, he couldn’t believe that the Mavericks were losing to a team full of “midgets”. He said Avery Johnson made a bad move switching his starting line-up before the game, and that it showed that he wasn’t ready mentally against Don Nelson. He said, “You guys won 67 games with that starting line-up, WHY WOULD YOU CHANGE IT?”. Uhh hello, that line-up may have won the most wins in the league that year, but it also had them going 0-4 against Golden State.
But anyways, the Warriors ended up blowing out the Mavericks in Game 3, making Barkley’s prediction a failure. Too bad Game 3 was on ESPN and not TNT, we couldn’t see Chuck’s live post game reaction to the loss of the Mavericks. At the beginning of Game 4 however, Barkley saw the fans with a bunch of signs that were making fun of him for writing the Warriors off so quick. Barkley hated on the Warriors a lot, and was finally proven wrong; so instead of hating on the Warriors, he started to hate on the fans along with the Bay Area. When he was looking at the signs, he said, “Man, those people are just mad… mad that they live in Golden State and not Los Angeles”.
Ahh, I know it’s somewhat of a long post but I love reminiscing about the 2007 We Believe Warriors! Paul Wong FTW!!!

I forgot to add to that. I don’t think reaching for a ball should warrant a technical. I see that happen in like every other game in the NBA and there’s never any consequences.

nah
It’s hard to work my way back up on Youtube again since the site keeps deleting my accounts every time my videos get a lot of views. I tried coming back with a new account (Precise Films) but it’s not the same as my 510ent profiles, since I haven’t had time to make new vids.
I used to get all my Warriors footage from www.gswpete.com, but that site has been down for like a year now, which caused me to have a lack of clips to use. I’m getting lazy too, I was planning to make a Baron Davis tribute video around May (I had a feeling he was going to be gone), but never got around to it. I was also gonna do a Stephen Jackson video that was supposed to showcase how important he is to the team.
Maybe if I find a new source for footage, i’ll start doing videos again.
