Warriors waive Kosta

The Zero Threat Position Perovic has been waived by the Warriors as reported here.

Star-divide

He's been signed by a Spanish team and released from his contract with the Dubs, so it doesn't seem like they will have to eat his $1.75mm salary for this year. The Warriors also have the ability to sign him in two years.

I'm not sure why Mullin signed him to begin with. Seems like an expensive way to keep your options open. The guy never seemed to get off the ground.

This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

No Way...

This guy was averaging 10pts 13Reb and 2Blk a game, why would we let him go? Oh wait those were his season totals…. I keep getting that confused.

They don’t need to sign anyone. It’s probably better to keep the empty roster spot for a fill-in once they’ve got a better idea of their needs vis a vis Monta’s injury.

he had very few chances

to prove himself. Remember that elimination game against the suns when he had to defend shaq? I thought he held his own, especially for not playing the entire season. Just my two cents.
