Training Camp Update

Just an update of Traing camp:

http://www.nba.com/warriors/fanzone/2008_training_camp_blog.html

-Monta arrives and is interviewed.  Thoughts by SJax.

"Going wait 'til [his] agent addresses the team"-Monta

What the heck does that mean?  Is he not going to personally apologize to his teammates?  What is he waiting for?

I think part of his punishment should be to take some college courses while he's not training.  Mainly English and Ethics.  Give this boy some gramma, and teach 'im what right and what wrong.  It was nice to have Baron, (UCLA), doing a lot of interviews because he could articulate himself a little.

Also there's a nice bit about AB, and how far he has come to become a co-captain.

Also here's a piece about Jackson still talking about being "taken care of" with a new contract.

and also

please give the full quotation not just a snippet

“We’ll address it next week when my agent speaks with the team,” Ellis told reporters. “I want to tell you, but we just have to wait it out and see what they say. When it’s time for me to address it, then I’ll address it.”

Good call

Only listened to the interview this morning, just read the printed version.

Still, that must mean that there is a possibility of him being out longer than expected or what?

What the heck does that mean? Is he not going to personally apologize to his teammates?

I think he’s using the “team” to mean management? I don’t think his teammates expect an apology, Montay dint hurt himself on purpose. Waiting for his agent to deal with the “team” sounds like the smart thing to do, that’s why they get their percentage.
I just hope young #8 dint permanently damage his ankle to the point where it affects his performance.

Maybe he didn't hurt his ankle on purpose but,

he does owe his team an apology. His absence realistically could cost them a few games. Being a professional is more than just suiting up at game time. It’s being responsible, taking responsibility for your mistakes, learning from them and then moving on. Monta is looking like a small child by not publicly taking responsibility for his boneheaded decision, accident or not.

just

cause he didnt apologize through the media doesn’t mean he didnt apologize to his team mate privately…

this is the same BS that one guy posted about Jackson not being a captain cause he didn’t call monta… but if listened to any interview with jackson he’ll tell you he was in contact with monta over the summer.
