The Warriors are 4 and 19 on the road this season and the Trail Blazers are clearly the most improved team in the league with a home record of 13 and 4. All signs point to a disappointing result for the Warriors tonight however, I'm thinking we have a chance here for reasons most people can't comprehend.
Why? Well because I'm delusional for one, but most importantly because the Trailblazers are without their star player Brandon Roy. With a four game losing streak we have to take advantage of this and hope or depleted roster can come alive. But that alone won't help us. No, we are going to need something more powerful than that. We need the power of "Idiotic Statistics". Check this out: We are 3 and 3 this year when playing on Saturday nights. That's a 50% coin flip. But if you break it down even more, you'll see that we are 3 and 3 when playing Saturday night road games. That means every single Saturday night game on the road we've played this year, we've won half of them. Now I don't want to jinx us or anything and I hope this trend continues, but if I were a betting man (which I'm not) I might put a lot of money on the warriors tonight. In fact I think I might put a nickel on it! Or record shows that we win 2 consecutive Saturday night games on the road followed by 3 Saturday night losses. So obviously we are going to win since we lost to Denver on 12/13 and then won against the Bobcats on 12/20. We are due for another Saturday night victory.
Get it?
Yea neither do I but on another interesting note we only play 1 Saturday night game at home this year. That stinks.
Idiotic predictions:
- Warriors lose by 7 (superstitious prediction).
- Aldridge and Oden combine for 37 points.
- Ellis still doesn't play.
- Wright and Belinelli have big nights.
- Yao Ming scores 33 against the Knicks.

BRoy will probably
come off the bench if the Blaze aren’t getting it done. Or he’ll start and come out every time the lead breaks double digits. That way he won’t go into the 35-40 minute range, and he’ll be ready for the road trip.

Nelly’s always changing the starting line-up. My guess is Biedrins, Belilnelli, Crawford, Azubuike, and Watson. The only thing I know for sure is that Biedrins will start.
Dude I totally agree with your signature. That’s exactly what I tell people lol. Except it’s the Warriors though. Back in the 99-00 season, I hated how the Lakers got away with everything from dirty playing and walks/travels to Shaq being able to slam Arvydas to the floor and get nothing called. I’ve hated the Lakers ever since. Plus, Scottie Pippen’s my favorite of all-time. I wanted him to get that ring without Mike. Oh well.

I have never liked the L@kers (we have to spell it with the @ at Blazers Edge, it’s considered a swear word!). I hated the Show Time Lakers, and when Shaq was totally disrespectful to Sabonis. Another thing that urks me is all the Kobe jerseys that we see at the Blazer games when we play them. Good luck tonight guys. Let’s hope both teams play hard.

that cruises are made for groups of 5-10. The basketball court btw was pretty ok, although 2 balls went overboard in 4 days which left us playing with the jacked up ball with bumps on it.

It’s not because the Warriors aren’t GOOD, it’s because they’re STUPID!!! They got the skills, but not the basketball IQ! Totally opposite of let’s say DUMBLEAVY who had the IQ, but not the skills!

past 4 games, been horrible for him offensively
At least he tried initiating the offense some this game, had a couple nice dishes. Didnt have any against the Lakers. Still Young a learning, but hasn’t been able to find that rythem though recently.

I F'ING HATE JAMAL CRAWFORD. FOR THOSE THAT TIVO'D THE GAME . . . .
Watch him at 6:22 left in the 3rd Quarter. That is the essence of Jamal Crawford. He is a selfish bastard who is a lazy ass on defense. He starts by missing the baseline three pointer, then watches the entire Blazer team run full speed to the other end of the court while he just jogs back on D, letting Aldridge (who was the one that challenged Crawford’s three and was initially even further from the Blazer basket than Crawford) get to the rim on a fast break. If you let the video run, you will see that he is the last Warrior down the court. Why does Nellie give him such a long leash while other Warrior players like Marco are on short leashes? Why does Nellie not punish him for his poor shot selection and defensive lapses? Off the ball on D, he turns his head more than any player I have ever seen. How can Anthony Morrow play almost an entire quarter’s worth of minutes in the first half and not get Crawford to get him a decent look at the basket? There were several times when Crawford could’ve made the extra pass and given Morrow a good look at the basket, but he didn’t because he is a selfish bastard. The best thing that Crawford can do for the Warriors is opt out at the end of the season. Please, please Jamal. Opt out and get out! We may still lose games without you, but at least we can lose them as a team passing the ball and not lose because of you jacking up shots whenever you please.

Not our worst effort, considering how injured and inept on the road we are, but still not much fun. Really nice games from ‘Buike and Turiaf, and good to see Maggette looking sharp. He had some atrocious defensive moments, but some good ones as well, and he did his offensive thing quite well. It won’t take long for people to realize that Corey Maggette is not a problem for us.
I don’t know when some people will realize what a huge problem Jamal Crawford is. Anyone who could watch this game and see him as anything but a detriment isn’t watching very closely. It’s also starting to look like Marco’s fifteen minutes of fame are up. I’d actually rather see Morrow getting the nod over Marco, as Morrow continues to play quietly effective basketball.
Hard to project much daylight on the horizon, considering the shallowness of our frontcourt. Randolph was certainly very active out there, but he’s continuing to make the same glaring mistakes with alarming frequency, and Jermareo Davidson sure didn’t look too confident in his cameo appearance.
I think our best lineup tomorrow would be Marco, Morrow, Azubuike, Turiaf and Biedrins, with Maggette providing scoring off the bench. Marco’s looked pretty brutal lately, but he’s at least willing to move the ball around some… Crawford only passes when his isos start going south. That starting lineup features five guys who’ve at least shown a passing interest in defense lately, and it’s just about the best rebounding lineup we can currently field. Turiaf will probably get into foul trouble quickly, but so what? We might as well try a lineup that might not stink, even if we can’t keep it on the court very long.
Nobody hates the idea of tanking more than me, but it must be said: we’re starting to enter the higher reaches of the lottery field. Given the putrid state of this team, it’s hard to not start daydreaming at least a little about Blake Griffin.
Crawford didn't pass the ball
When he got the ball he’ll not think of pass it to another.When he is in good condition,he can score high because he just shoot when he got the ball.That’s why sometimes he can score very high.I really hope he can option out and then we can tank and get griffin.Marco still a lot of things to improve.Hopefully next season he can be a 15-16ppg with 5-6assits player and keep on improving.
