Usually with GSOM Nights we try to schedule games that everyone wants to see - Opening Night, JRich's Return, Arenas, Yao and Tmac. This time around it's the return of the man who saved the franchise...and then left, Baron Davis.

On January 25, 2009 at 6:00pm, Baron returns to Oakland and I'm sure he'll want to have a huge game. Whatever the outcome, I know we'll be treated to a special night.

We're once again working with Chris Murphy of the Warriors to make this as smooth and enjoyable as possible. All the info you need is to click on the link. Tickets have been reduced to last year's pricing of $45 for sideline tickets and $30 for corner/baseline tickets, both in the upper bowl. With every ticket purchase, you'll receive a free Tony.psd designed GSOM Night t-shirt.

NOT SURE

Do you guys know if Monte Ellis will be back for this game?
And what exactly is GSOM Nights?
Also is it fine if kids go?

by GirlBaller5 on Jan 2, 2009 3:04 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

Monta Ellis has no set date for return. It’s possible.

GSOM nights are when the blog all goes to the game together. For getting a big group to go, They were able to get special rates for the game. The warriors also make shirts for the group if you buy a ticket to help support the fans and blog. Also sometimes there are random giveaways to the group. Also usually the first 500 to buy tickets are invited to court side shoot around. Where you get to sit in the first couple rows and watch pre game shoot around.

Kids are always welcomed.

When they first started this the group would be really loud and get really in to the game being all in one section. But now a days the seats are not together so it is not as easy to do. Harder to put the group all in one place, now that the Warriors sell more tickets.

Like The Golden One wrote, it’s an opportunity that GSOM puts together for all of its readers to get to a game at a significant discount.

Tony.psd designs the free t-shirts that you’ll get. Plus there are raffles and giveaways.

I always find it cool to see people wearing the GSOM Night shirts because you always know that you have at least 2 things in common with that person: love for the Warriors and GSOM

And of course it’s cool if kids go. We encourage it. In fact, if the kids are under 16 they have the chance to high 5 the players in the tunnel during introductions. Just contact Chris Murphy, CTMurphy@gs-warriors.com and he’ll fill you in on the details.

I just wanna go...

GSoM Nights have been different as of late but man, its one of my favorite nights to just chill with friends… as a matter of fact I’m trying to pull together a small pack of close homies to chill with me at an affordable cost. It’s so hard (nearly impossible) to get lower level seats for a group of 8… these GSoM nights help us out in a major way. :-)

Can't make it to this one.

Will be in the homeland, PI.

Hasheem "The Dream" Thabeet or Brandon Jennings. A Warrior in 09.
With the 6th Pick in the 2009 MLB Draft, the SF Giants pick Donovan Tate.
Andre Smith in Silver & Black in 2009.

will

I think...

they will win because they might play harder because they want to show baron he should’t have left the Dubs

by GSW Fan on Jan 4, 2009 12:33 AM PST up reply actions   0 recs

I think...

…we’ll win. I seem to remember we played well against Baron last time. I don’t remember explicitly how it played out, but I’d imagine Nelson has some idea how to bamboozle him.

how long do we have to get them?

I have some people I want to take but there out of the country until next week.

by qin on Jan 3, 2009 5:06 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

you should have up until a fews days before the game but to be safe i’d order them at least a week in advance

by Fantasy Junkie on Jan 4, 2009 12:00 AM PST up reply actions   0 recs

As a matter of fact...

Chris Murphy was selling Tickets to the GSoM Night 3 or 4 hours prior to tip off! While I’m sure we don’t recommend it, thats crazy he could process the tix and have them ready at will call that fast!

Good to know, thanks

I should know by Wed or Thurs how many I will need.

PLEASE RESPOND!!!

So is it $30 total for each ticket? Or are there any additional costs? Such as tax, processing fees, etc…

I Believe In Monta Ellis.

by WarriorFanLive on Jan 8, 2009 3:44 AM PST reply actions   0 recs

Total

$30 is the total cost of each ticket. There shouldn’t be tax or processing fees.

by Fantasy Junkie on Jan 8, 2009 9:05 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Well unless they run out of the $30 tickets. Then you’ll have to pay for the more expensive tickets. But still no tax or processing fees.

by Fantasy Junkie on Jan 8, 2009 9:06 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Do you get a shirt..

with each ticket purchased for a group? Or is it one shirt for the person who buys the groups’ tix?

by in for life on Jan 8, 2009 11:51 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

one shirt per ticket

Remember the "We want Foyle!" chants?

The crowd should start a “We want Baron!” chant! Get that rocking around the Oracle.

TSHIRT

I’ll wait to see the T-Shirt design first. It may sway my decision.

Great shirt.

I can’t wait to get out to the Oracle for my first game of the year. I’m taking my nephew who just turned 7 and it will be his first NBA game ever. Should be a fun night.

Honestly, i’m not feeling that design. Looks like only 5 minutes of work from a pro like you Tony. Just my opinion.

You're not a real Warriors Fan.

LOL… just kidding!

Well, I was trying to go throwback on the idea, it was something I looked at for days before posting… I was pretty happy w/ it and The GSoM staff guys gave it their blessing…

also, understand this: The Warriors marketing folks screen my work and give me feedback, at times- the design gets edited to their standards and I’m only aloud to use one color…

It’s a free shirt too, Free stuff usually gets butchered in opinion ut are welcome LOL…

Maybe this will excite folks, I was getting tired of the same layout I use to promote my stuff (thats my bad)

It's nothing personal

You know i always give u props for your outstanding artwork on this site. Being an artist while having someone limit your creativity must suck. IMO if you only could include your signature or something on these t-shirt creations it would make them 1000% better.
