I want him in too.
Unfortunately, voting already ended last night. I always think that whenever I see Crawford play that if he was on a winning team, he’d easily be an all-star. From what I see, I think he can be a playmaker, but I guess Nellie just wants him to score for the most part.

Crawford allstar?
Did they check that vote total? Maybe it was just a typo error? Crawford an allstar cracks me up, here’s a guy that can’t defend a fly and doesn’t know when to stop shooting and they want him on the allstar team? Standards have certainly dropped over the years, Boom played great for the last three years and din’t get in so why Crawford now? Dris is the only player on our team that deserves a slot and even he’s not real allstar material.

+1
AB deserves to be an allstar and although I am a Crawford fan, he doesn’t deserve to be. As you said, standards have certainly dropped over the years but its all about what the fans want to see.
Crawford would be perfect in an All-Star game to show off his handles and would be a flashy scorer in the game.
Very interesting article and I was surprised as hell to read Jamal’s votes.

AB
isn’t an all star. All stars can take over a game which AB can not.

You mean MVP's take over a game right?
If you think AB isn’t an all-star, then that’s fine.
A guy that averages 13.7 PPG, 12.0 RPG, plays a significant role in his team, is desperately needed when out of the lineup for certain games, had 10 consecutive double doubles this season, has improved and taken a big part in his team’s offense from a year ago… in my books deserves to be an all star.
David West made the All Stars last year. He is a very good player but can’t take over a game by himself.
Kevin Willis was an All Star. He can’t take over a game by himself.
I’m a big Biedrins fan but if he doesn’t make the playoffs it wouldn’t crush me. I will still watch the All Star weekend because I love hoops, but all I care about is AB continuing to contribute the way he has this season and win games for us fans that we loyally watch.

kelenna needs to be in there too
we deserve 2 players in the 3pt contest based on the way they are playing, although I dont know if Morrow will end up with enough attempts.
On the B.D. issue, I agree he is good, but he is not an all star in the West. Too much talent at center and we are a losing team.
Also, how the hell is Gilbert Arenas getting votes? He isnt even trying to come back this season!

When you said B.D., did you really mean AB?
I agree with you that Yao Ming, Duncan, Amare, and Pau deserve the All Star spots , but if AB did win a spot, I don’t think there should be an argument about it the way he has played this year.

Biedrins deserves it more than Stoudemire
For whatever reason Amare’s regressed horribly this season. His rebounding and D in particular have been for shite. AB has him beat in every major category except for PPG and FT%.

Biedrins deserves it more than Stoudemire
It’s up to the fans to decide who they’d rather watch and despite the numbers Amare is more exciting. Dris is dull
Now wheres the rubbers? Whose got the rubbers?
I noticed there's so many of them
and there's really not that many of us.

Seriously dull
Have you seen his team’s fanblog? Half the posters bash Biedrins any chance they get. How do you expect him to win a popularity contest against STAT, Duncan, Ming, and Pau if he can’t even win a popularity contest against Brandan Wright, Ronny Turiaf, or Anthony Randolph? I guess he’s probably got Kurz beat…
