Nice recap
Fair to both sides.
But both teams played really ugly – no D in the first half, and sloppy in the 2nd half.
how many end of game possessions do i have to watch
where the W’s can’t get a f-ing rebound? 4 guards and a center. brilliant lineup. game after game after game. don’t feed me “lucky shot” bs, nellie, how ‘bout the previous 120 points? i don’t want to hear about injuries. they don’t qualify as an excuse to execute the fundamentals of the game (rebounding, defense, passing) we stink and can’t even beat the worst teams in the league. wait, we are the worst team in the league. i’m sick of it. i wish i could see hope here, but i don’t.
after getting that off my chest, to be fair, however, losing this game (and the 31 others) doesn’t bother me. the okc thieves are getting to be an exciting young team. (something that we’re supposed to be). what bothers me is the quality of our play, the intelligence with which we approach the game and the instinctive ability to execute in all facets of the game.

nellie, how ‘bout the previous 120 points
Direct that to the beloved Keith Smart.
You may not want to hear about injuries, but they are the sole reason this team has underperformed this year. There is little execution or fundamentals in most if not all NBA teams. Do you really think the “We Believe” Warriors relied on fundamentals? Puh-leazzzeee. Last year? We were starting Jackson, Pietrus, and Barnes at the 4. This is Warriors basketball, we don’t do rebounding, we score. Without our thoroughbreds, we can’t score. Are we a top tier team? Heck no. But with a healthy team, we’re definitely a good/entertaining/bottom tier playoff team. You only think OKC is an exciting team because:
1. They just beat your team
2. In an exciting game with lots of scoring and two clutch shots at the finish
3. The NBA marketing machine wants you to think KD is a great player
4. The NBA marketing machine wants you to think that Clay “Chief Thief” Bennett’s squad is “young & exciting”
Don’t give in to the hype. They’re bad, as their league worst record indicates, they’re evil, and they’re just like any other young squad, filled with longupsidepotential rather than currently useful basketball players.

I don't buy into the NBA Marketing Machine
It’s just that Durant has been my favorite basketball player since his lone-year playing at Texas. I personally think the Thunder are a young exciting team with him, Green and Russell Westbrook to build around.
*1a
they’ve beat my team twice. ouch.
don’t make assumptions on what i believe. i’m not plugged into the machine. i’ve seen okc beat us twice with young kids making our vets look foolish. that’s why i think they’re exciting. they’re winning now. that’s another reason i think they’re exciting. youth. that’s another reason i think they are exciting. did i say they were good, or that i loved them? no.
i appreciate you coming to the defense of the W’s. i’m in a foul mood about them—as i intimated in my above post.

They beat the jazz too
And they are fully healthy. And we beat boston.
Both teams have potential, but are lacking execution. For us, it is both injuries and bad decisions (looking at you sjax). For them, it is youth and bad decisions.
They’re bad, as their league worst record indicates,
Did you watch the game? Three great young players. Give them a quality center and they’ll go places. I’d trade our line up straight up for theirs.
Now wheres the rubbers? Whose got the rubbers?
I noticed there's so many of them
and there's really not that many of us.

Monta/Biedrins/(Randolph or Wright)
vs.
Westbrook/Green/Durant
I’ll take the former thank you very much. Might be singing a different tune in 2 years, but I doubt it.

As a favor to us
I hope that the Clippers beat the snot out of the Thunder in their next game, then go back to their losing ways.
If you want favors from opposing teams who beat us all the time
You’re going to be asking for lots and lots of favors the following game.
I hope that the Clippers beat the snot out of the Thunder
What for? The thunder saved us from blowing lotto points, they stepped up and offered us more ping pong balls. Thank those scrappy kids!!
