ur asking

a SG to play point….dont blame crawford…blame mangement for putting crawford into a position he isnt meant to play

WE NEED A REAL PG…we can draft one EASILY…there are many in the draft

so…we are also missing a PF>..TRADE FOR ODOM! or get him next year

in regards to Odom

it’d have to be a trade. we are over the cap already for next year unless JC opts out. But even if he does opt out, if you consider our 1st round picks salary, we won’t even be able to offer enough money to match the mid-level exception (teams under the cap don’t get a mid-level).

unless we could offer Maggette type money, Odom would never choose the dubs over a winning team if all he could get was the mid-level.

that said, hard to see the Lakers trading him within the same division especially considering what we have to offer (long term money and unproven potential).

passing would be nice

We can’t pass because we got nobody that can pass. If we are going to play small, it would be nice to have one decent passer. I think the best one we got is Marcus Williams but Nelson’s not playing him. He’s afraid if Marcus is any good, everyone will blame him for not playing him before. That’s Don Nelson for you. Ego before doing what’s best for the team. WE MISS YOU BARON!

Monta's no PG..

at least not now. And yeah we do need one. he needs to be off the ball, we need an initiator, Crawford has done it a times but not consistantly. I wish we at least had Rocky back cause he does find people.

Ive been watching Monta in his few games back and he takes the ball up, hands off to Biedriens top key, or Jax, or Magetee, runs around and the ball rarley goes back to him. When it has, its been a rushed possession for him or clogged lane with no where to go or shoot. its just been bad.

like i said

we NEED a PG…it is our biggest problem (PF is not our biggest problem)

we have no offensive chemistry without a solid point…we are only good on the fast break since that doesnt need a point…but our halfcourt game is just terrible

we need to draft one of the many top quality points in the draft

we need to trade for odom or get him in the off season…

OR we need to trade for a solid point (BRING BARON BACK!)

my proposition:

Maggs + cj + mwilliams for baron

during off season have crawford opt out and try to get odom

and draft a PG to develop for when baron is gone

Lineup:

Baron/Bellineli/DRAFT
Ellis/Morrow/Buki
Jackson/Buki/Randolph
Odom/Wright/Randolph
Goose/Turiaf

and after a few years:

draft’ed pg
ellis
randolph
wright
goose

i believe! what do u think?

i

think the clippers dont want to do it. Neither does Rowell. If Rowell didn’t want to give Baron 5 before why does he want to give Baron 5 years now?

well the clipps prob would do it…they dont like how baron is doing on their team…he doesnt fit…maggs trade val has gone up as a dubb and has been playin well…he doesnt fit our system…

i think the trade would make sense

The clipps totally would be open to trading baron

Won't happen...

It can’t happen because ROWELL won’t admit that he made that big of a mistake. If you look at what has been said or written about him, he seems to be the type that will live and die with a decision because if it works out then he will get all the credit. If it doesn’t work out then it turns into “I’m the President and I make the decisions.”Plus I read an article were DLEAV SR. basically said Maggs was only playing for the money. Which is you read into it probably shows that maggs and DLEAV Sr. didn’t have the best relationship when he was there.
The team is pretty much stuck in this damn purgatory until ROWELL grows a BRAIN (NOt gonna happen) or Cohan gets tired of making money with a mediocre product. (No shot in Hell). SOOOOO pretty much up isht creek without a paddle.

The team should...

Go spend some of the money they have been trhowing around on bad contracts and buy one of those nice, $155,000 petri dish dogs. Hey maybe we can have Nellie clone Lucky the dog and that can bring back the WE BElieve mojo…lol
