Game: Warriors at Rockets – This is my kind of Super Bowl!

Golden State Warriors at Houston Rockets, Jan 31, 2009 5:30 PM PST

A couple of my favorite 2008 ads during the game:

I got Super Bowl Fever!

Warriors: 15-32
Rockets: 28-19
Tip-Off: 5:30 PM PST
TV: CSN
Radio: KNBR

It's always Christmas or Thanksgiving or Super Bowl time for me when the Warriors play the Houston Rockets. As you can see I'm a fan of the big Yao, so tonight I'm excited to see him and the Warriors in action. I don't want to regurgitate how nice it would have been should we have drafted Yao (impossible) back in the day but instead let's focus on our team coming back to full strength, our impressive win last night, and how we can control the big three in Texas tonight.

But first another super bowl ad favorite:

If you didn't get a chance to see the game last night please read Fantasy Junkie's recap. It was a great opportunity for us to win on national television and to show the rest of the league that when at full strength and with a little luck ... we can hang! It was a great game and truly a team effort to beat the Hornets. Not a bad start to our 7 game horrific schedule. Let's see if we can pull another one off after a game last night.

The Rockets are also struggling coming off a two game losing streak WITH their top three players active so obviously they are having issues. We'll see if they still do or if the Warriors are their answer to regroup. I doubt it. It's strange to see TMac, Artest, and Yao play at the same time but have no rhythm. I'm thinking with Maggette's points per minutes, Biens and Ronny guarding Yao, and Crawford and Ellis' shooting, we have a great chance to win! Do you agree?

YaoButta's predictions:

-          Warriors win by 2 at the buzzer.

-          The commercials stink.

-          Ellis and Maggette combine for 45 points.

-          Yao has a monster Double Double. But starts slow because of Biens and Turiaf.

-          Artest shows us why we should have traded for him.

3 hours to go!

After last night’s grind ‘em out victory, I’m looking forward to another “upset” win tonight over the Rockets. I’m not dreading this game.

And after tonight, we will NOT have another back-to-back game until March 3 and 4. We will only have 2 road games in February. If there’s any chance of this team gelling, that will be the time.

i am looking

forward to a crushing loss.
Rockets win by 10.
Kurz gets 10 minutes.
Monta scores 10 points.
Jax has 10 TOs
Mags sinks 10 Freethrows
Biedrins gets 10 rebounds
Yao scores 10FG
Alston has 10 assists

Good thing he's only in for a minute or so....

That way we’ll be able to keep his talent a a secret until a more important game.

Anyone can make a 3 on us.

IIRC Yao made his only career three against us his rookie year.

Well...

I will be watching the California-USC game in a half-hour on CSNCA. I watched the Cal women defeat USC earlier, 73-71.

Dang, I hate these early games.God din't intend basketball to be played in the morning or he'd never have made us want to stay out all night.

By the time I got home from livin a real life it was over. I read the recap and see I din’t miss much. Not much playin time for my boy Morrow or his sidekick thizzface so that’s why we lost ?
Oh well, LGW Sometimes they make me happy, sometimes they make me sad, but most of the time they just make me mad….or something like that :>)

Now wheres the rubbers? Whose got the rubbers?
I noticed there's so many of them
and there's really not that many of us.
