"We believe if we don't make a trade we can win the championship. Our improvement has come from within - our young guys have played another year and are better. They are clearly better players than last year."
As for O'Bryant, the only newcomer currently with the Celtics, Rivers said, "He's just not ready yet. He's working on it, and he's making improvement. He's very young and it takes time. That's why I push him."

even if he never gets off the Celtics' bench
he probably still feels like he’s died and gone to heaven to be on a team that shows this kind of interest in developing its young players. Brandon Wright probably reads about this and gets sick.

Not really sure how an underachieving D league type player
on the Celtics is even post worthy on this board. POB is a POS. He had a few years to show us his skills here with no results and even with the leadership of the Celtics and the peer pressure of KG he is proving one thing. He does not get it and is still a POS! this is not the fault of the W’s. It is all on POB!

THE POINT
I was trying to make was to illustrate the difference between teams. The Celtics are a real team, not just a group of guys who get together and put on the same uniforms. On the Waqrriors, you get in Nellie’s doghouse and you never get out.
And don’t be too surprised if POB actually does start making some significant contributions – it certainly wouldn’t be the first time a player left the Warriors and found greener pastures.
