Warrior Friends 2009: (Roll call please)... Jamal Crawford (Green Lantern), Ronny Turiaf (Hawkman), Franco Finn (Warriors Twins), Kelenna Azubuike (Martian Man Hunter), Andris Biedrins (Aquaman), Anthony Morrow (Robin), Stephen Jackson (Batman), Marco Belinelli (SuperMan), Ruby Lopez (Warrior Twins), WG Brianna (Wonder Woman) and Monta Ellis (The Flash)

Just wanted to try something a little more cartoonish for our squad and take a break from "The Death of We Believe and Thunder" scenarios. No matter how bad our record is, there's always room for a good laugh! (LOL at Belinelli as Superman!) Post these Warrior Friends on your desktop!

Oh man

without Tony, this place would be devoid of all color.

Passes faster than a speeding bullet. Defends more powerfully than a locomotive. Able to shoot over tall backboards in a single shot. It’s SuperMarco!

I didn’t know he was playing last night let alone play well lol, and when I found out I was finalizing this piece so I could get back to my prior commitments w/ clients…

I actually had more ideas but just didn’t have the time… like B. Wright as Plastic Man as well.

Lemme see what I can whip up in the next 2 hours, I’ll update the art as soon as I can. You know me I’m always busy LOL!

Turiaf

Tony, I don’t know if this has been discussed yet, but I see a striking resemblance between Ronny Turiaf and the Predator, especially with Ronny’s hair. I think you should do a pictore.

I actually did my research or Predators and did one last season with T-Hud… but didn’t wanna use the same pose… There isn’t a lotta good predator pics on-line, theyre mostly low rez jpegs you can’t blow up…

Sooner or later I’ll just redraw it repping Turiaf lookin’ all savage like!

cool

interesting mix of artist styles. a bruce timm inspired green lantern mixed in with more western style superhero shapes. the monta flash looks like a japanese/western style character. I agree that Corey needs to be there somewhere as well as BWright since they’ve been on the team longer than someone like Crawford.

I pray i never have to use a gun again...

...unless i'm at a strip club parking lot...

...and somebody tries to run me over with their car...

...But how often does that happen??

Yea...

I’ll add Corey and B. Wright in shortly… this wasn’t an easy drawing, it took longer than expected and I had some other things I needed to take care of… (Fear the Fin stuff, Kingdom 209, New start up in Chicago and a bunch of small freelance gigs for clients…)
