Off with Jackson's head ... and Nellie's too?
Little YahooSports blurb suggests they both might not be long for the Warriors. I appreciate a lot of what Nellie has done for this team, just as I appreciate a lot of what Jackson has done. Yet somehow this feels like an idea whose time has come.
Heck, while Cohan's at it: off with Robert Rowell's head, too. (I'd say off with his own head, but that's overly wishful thinking). Let's see what Riley and Keith Smart can do with the reins to the team, and let's see Monta, Biedrins, and Turiaf step into the roles of team leaders.

I'd say offer Nellie a consulting role perhaps
And let Smart coach

Why was my comment hidden?
Anyway, let’s try this again: The source is from Tim Kawakami, so don’t take that with too much credibility.

I ran into the word blurb the other day and looked it up, out of curiosity. Good word that I intend to put to use. Just noticed it’s used a little loosely in your post, if you’re interested.
Welcome to the Pit of Despair! Don't even think about trying to escape.

Heh, yeah, creative license. ;-P
You know what words are among the most habitually and egregiously misused? “Disinterested” and “peruse”:
Disinterested: Free of bias, impartial.
Peruse: To examine or consider with care; To read completely.
Indeed, they’re so misused that their more common “incorrect” meanings are becoming more and more accepted. Language is really less about “rules” than tendencies. Only a matter of time before Webster’s starts accepting “your” as a contraction of “you are”…
There will be no extra point!

One of the many things that make language so interesting and beautiful.
heart of a champion, will of the warrior.
