WTF
“(Things are) always made out to make me look bad. At the end of the day, I wouldn’t disrespect Coach like that. But I was mad at our staff for not having my back. If I’m going to go out there and bust my (butt) for you, I expect you to have my back.”
???? that is total BS….. JUST WOW

Ditto
Can we please just trade this baby? Actually just keep him for a game or 2 so we get the chance to boo the crap out of him.=]

What’s so hard to understand about that? Anyone who’s ever competed should know that and everyone else should memorize it..

If it was as simple as that, sure. But when your stamping your feet and being a big loudmouth, cry baby do you expect everyone else around you to follow suit?

Damn, you gotta love Jack.
He ain’t scared of nobody. From Cohan, Rowell, Nelly, Kobe, somebody trying to run him over with a car, Pistons’ fans, it doesn’t matter, nobody intimidates him. I must say, you gotta admire the guy for that.
"Sometimes, it just comes down to making shots." -Pat Riley
"The only difference between a good shot and a bad shot is if it goes in or not. " -Charles Barkley
On a player passing up an open shot: "You miss 100% of the shots that you don't take." - Joe Ledbetter, HS coach

Being completely oblivious to consequences will do that
I prefer to admire someone who understands that actions have consequences and is accountable for them. Rationalization of the sort Jackson is doing leads to just the sort of unhappy ending we are witnessing here. (Obviously, similar principles may be applied to certain persons whose last name starts with a R and rhymes with “owl.”)
By the way, it usually isn’t courage that motivates rationalization.

The combo
of Jax getting fined and Kobe not, along with the fact that Kobe does get away with a lot of $hit because he’s one of the NBA’s golden children could be destructive. Its not hard to imagine that replacement refs would be hard pressed to call Kobe on every action, while they know that Jax pretty much has a target on his back.
Not saying he’s right, but it is worth taking into consideration. I didn’t see that game. Did anyone else notice anything?
