Some More Goofy Trade Ideas!
This whole trade idea thing might be getting old, but it's kind of frustrating just waiting for the Warriors take forever to get things done, sort of like the Raiders. So I'm bored and it's raining, and I'm going to post a couple random trade ideas.
1st idea: Trade with the Bulls
Bulls get Jackson
Warriors get Taj Gibson and Jerome James
The Bulls probably need another scorer if they really want to have a shot to go deep in the playoffs, and they are not very strong at the wing positons besides Deng. The rookie James Johnson might be solid in the future, and Salmons is decent. But at shooting guard they really don't have anything. Salmons and Hinrich are more suited to come off the bench on a playoff team, and Jackson is solid at the 2. A lineup of Rose, Jackson, Deng, Thomas/Johnson, and Noah, is pretty solid in the East. In return the Warriors would get powere forward Taj Gibson, who could really help down low, and Jerome James, who has a big expiring contract. I don't know if the Bulls are maybe trying to get a big name free agent in the summer or what, but this would really help their team right now and in the future. And this trade works on trade machine.
2nd idea: Trade with the Blazers
Blazers get Jackson and Acie Law
Warriors get Travis Outlaw, Steve Blake, and Jeff Pendergraph
It seems like the Blazers real missing peice is a good caliber small forward. Jackson would definitely help in that department. I don't know if they would want Jackson, but I think he could help. They also get Law, who's contract is expiring and could be a backup pg for them. The Warriors would get Travis Outlaw, who could play the 3 or the 4 for the Warriors off the bench, Steve Blake, who's a solid backup pg, and Jeff Pendergraph, who was a very good rebounder and low post man in college. Also both Outlaw and Blakes contract expire. It works on the trade machine.
3rd idea: Trade with the Hornets
Hornets get Jackson
Warriors get Mo Peterson and Hilton Armstrong
This trade is probably the weakest of the three. The Hornets could definitely use a shooting guard becuase they are probably the weakest tame in the league at that position. They would give us Peterson (who we really don't need at all but if they take Jackson it really doesn't matter anymore) and Armstrong, who is a decent rebounder and shot blocker. This also works on the machine.
This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

Just as a note, I think Jackson would fit in perfectly with the Knicks. I just turned on their preseason game against the Sixers… The Knicks are 8-40 from 3-point range. We are truly blessed to have Morrow.
I think the least likely of these trades is the Blazers one. It’s also the one I like the least. We don’t really need more rotation players… especially at PG. I like Blake, but he’s still considered their starter even with their acquisition of Andre Miller in the offseason, which makes me doubt they would give him up.
I like the Bulls trade a lot, though as I say that with the Bulls preseason game on, Taj Gibson is beasting it up which means he’s probably worth a lot to the Bulls. Another possibility with the Bulls is SJax + expiring for Brad Miller, a decent big with good passing ability.
As for the Hornets idea, Hilton Armstrong is their 3rd big in rotation, behind West and Okafor, which means they would probably want a big in return.

I’d love the blazers one if we could sub Fernandez in and drop black and Pendergraph. On a superficial level it looks like it’d benefit Portland as Rudy will never get enough time there. Miller, Roy, Black, Bayliss, webster is a good back court rotation. Jackson, Batum at SF, Aldridge, Pendergraph at PF, Odom, prizbilla.
for the warriors we get an exciting 2guard who actually has shown good passing ability. Outlaw is another version of Harrington.
Of course the question would be WHY would they do it? They just got rid of the jail blazers image. also Fernandez, Blake and Outlaw could command more value (as the later 2 r expiring, and Fernandez makes very little. It’d probably have to be sweetened with a draft selection. Thanx Jack! without an outburst trades like these would be possible

I'd say only the NOH has a remote possibility.
Warriors, Stupidest franchise in the league.
I told Randolph that Bill Russell would tell him to keep that ball in play and start the break.

I'm down for those trades
I’ve been advocating AK all summer. He would be the perfect starting 3, or 6th man for our team.

To the Mavs
For Matt Carrol & Kris Humphries. Jax goes to Texas, to a contender, and the team he goes to doesn’t even lose anything! Perfect for him.
You have been DFiBrillated.

I like it. Dallas might go along with it, except that the story so far is that Humphries is playing better than any of their other off season acquisitions. I’m sure that story doesn’t hold up for very long though, and it gives us something in return for Jackson if he does turn out to be good.

Fine, they've got plenty of other crap they can foist off on us.

Unfortunately, Dallas won’t do a deal with us unless the completely bend us over.
See also: Cuban-Nelson lawsuit.
At this point, almost ANY deal for Jackson would already be a stretch, so with Dallas we’d have to get REALLY screwed for it to happen.
I’d say Williams + Buckner + Carrol is the best deal we’d get. And I’d take it.

I can't see why Dallas wouldn't do that deal.
Carrol has a terrible contract.

The issue is, no GM will take jack
because even if they like him. They see he will blow up again, and then they can literally have him for used car parts and some rotten fruit

I'd be down for any of those trades,
too bad none of them appear very plausible. No way N.O. gives up Hilton Armstrong without aquiring another young big man. I don’t see Blake getting traded, Portland doesn’t seemed sold on Miller. Chicago’s could go down, but they have some very good wing players and they’re high on Gibson thus far

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPS my bad everyone
THAT IS NOT ME and I do not know that kid, someone sent me that video (he likes that game alot) The trade was Hinrich to Sactown and we get Tyrus Thomas and Kenny Thomas and Chicago gets Claxton and Jack. Actually if any mod can hide that comment without me getting a warning somehow? That would be much appreciated! I feel so stupid…..

Some More Goofy Trade Ideas?
How about Goofy for Huckleberry hound? about as likely as anyone giving us someone better than Jax for Jax?

Dude...
You’re crazy! Disney is never going to give up Goofy. That dog is the man for them. Besides, Huckleberry just doesn’t fit in with the other players on their roster. And he hasn’t done much lately. Goofy at least is still relevant in the league. Maybe Huckleberry’s still got some game in him that the Hannah Barberra team just isn’t utilizing, but, even so, I don’t think Hannah Barberra goes for it either. He’s their guy and they like what he does for them too. Try coming up with a trade that actually takes the needs and style of the teams you are talking about into consideration! You won’t look so silly.

well I disagree with your assertions on the first two
Did you watch Salmons the end of last year and playoffs? Deng’s starting spot is more than at stake. And as for the Blazers, have you heard of Nicholas Batum? The Blazers are going to stand pat at the 3 for a couple of years. Like that Hornets one though. Armstrong would be useful and MoPete has a couple of years left in the league so if those contracts expire I would pull that trigger if they threw in a 1st rounder.
