(Matt Steinmetz) A day after Jack asked to be relieved of his captain duties, he's at it again, this time describing the 5 fouls incident from the Lakers game.

Stephen Jackson is completely delusional if he thinks he and Kobe are on the same level.

Understand this stuff. He sez he and Kobe deserve the same officiating. and that everyone should feel they can play with anyone or else they will never be able to. Also re-read his statement on backing up your team mates cause it’s central to the issue.

he did say he's as good as kobe
He’s sayin a player has to THINK he’s as good as any player he goes up against or he might as well just go home. You ever play anything? If you didn’t think you could win did you ever win?

+1
Don’t say I never agree with you. ;-)
Jack and Skeptic are right about this. If you think the other guy is better than you, you are beat already.

These are NBA PLAYERS, not FANS. As a fan, Kobe is better than me. But if I was in the NBA, i’d have to get that mentality so that I would be able to compete with him.

He's not delusional he suffers from Artestism.
Its similar ro being bipolar but only affects NBA players who make too much money. Let see who do we play next Tuesday? That should be one fun game to watch!

jacks got a point
if this happened in the 07-08 team BD and MB and al would be stepping up and backing him..but this team didint

a point?
So let me get this. If one of your friends goes nuts and is irrational and out of line, your gonna defend him regardless even if he is wrong and it will make you look stupid too? I’m sure Kobe and the refs have a different take on this and at this point nothing coming out of Jacks mouth has any credibility at all. Next Tuesdays game against the Lakers just got very interesting!

when their wrong?
that kind of thinking gets people in jail and killed. Do whats right! Not blind loyalty.

Do whats right! Not blind loyalty.
Team mates do it all the time, step in and distract the ref while someone else moves the guy away. It’s expected and is the right thing to do.

also a good point
but not so much when its Jackson, who is the volatile veteran “leader” demanding a trade. How is anyone supposed to know how to help when he could just as well have gone off on them the same way he did Nelson when he finally did come out. Jackson’s actions and reputation are actively working against people trying to come to his defense.

This is becoming an absolute joke.
Play him for now if theres any other disruption send him home until you can trade him. All this drama brings close and closer the day Larry Ellison buys the team.

Should we go with JayZ or Mariah Carey
Jay Z would say “Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, your far too kind!” because StackJack is murdering himself everytime he talks now days, he doesn’t have to worry about the Warriors even trying, he’s killing himself (equally talented as KOBE, LMAO)
or
Mariah Carey would say “Stephen, You’re delusional, you’re delusional,
Boy you’re losing your mind.” Jackson, you are the anti-Kobe, you guys are barely in the same class, you shouldn’t be able to shoot at the same basket as Kobe, lol" Whatever that boy smokin, slap it out of his hand now…Boy Stop, Child Please, Hysterical!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Teammates backing him??? Child PLEEZE!
My ass…so now his teammates and coaches are supposed to go fight Kobe because Jackson got into a argument with him. Does he know how much dumb shit the Warriors have allowed him to do and go unpunished. If the team jumped at every moment Jackson had a blow up, they’d be fighting every other game. How about the first seven games he missed after the 07 playoff run?, that team ended up winning 48 games that year but could have easily won 52 if he wasn’t being a Jack-ASS!

It was a meaningless preseason game
S. Jackson is dumb. And I give my props to the other players that they didn`t react. What is he thinking come on it`s a preseason game you fool not WCF!?!

kinda makes sense
i thought he was saying that players on every levl should get the same calls not just vps lik kobe n mj ,… not saying that he was on the same levl as kobe but he is stack jack crackd so mayb lol

I agree with Jack
Kobe usually does get calls from refs that other players wouldn’t.
I’ve seen Kobe complain a lot as well yet he never gets a tech.
Could be favoritism….
by Richboievans on Oct 14, 2009 7:06 PM PDT reply actions 0 recs
Not for nothing
But here’s Kobe’s NBA rank in technicals the last few years:
‘05-’06: 2nd
‘06-’07: 4th
‘07-’08: 1st
‘08-’09: 9th
Here’s Jackson:
‘05-’06: 4th
‘06-’07: 5th
‘07-’08: 15th
‘08-’09: 2nd
So really, they are two of the biggest whiners in the NBA. Not sure there’s a whole lot of favoritism involved.
What the hell is Brett Favre doing here?

Jackson’s complaining that his coaches and teammates aren’t standing up for him anymore?
That typically tends to happen when you tell the whole world that you’re too good to play for your team.
