"I'm not a fan of Kobe. I'm not somebody who looks up to him. I'm a grown man myself. So when I go out there and play the game, I play the game. I feel like I'm just as good as him."
-- "Captain" Stephen Jackson via GSoM friend Matt Steinmetz over at AOL FanHouse
Delusions of grandeur is the phrase that comes to mind.
Is there anyone Stephen Jackson has not managed to not diss this offseason/ preseason?

The next thing to come out of his mouth will be
“You know who else didn’t have my back. The fans. I felt like Kobe was out there throwing elbows and the fans didn’t have my back. If Kobe was throwing elbows at the fans, I would have their back. The fans don’t respect me.”

Oh Jack...
“You know who else din’t have my back? Rob Kurz! I backed him up last year, took him under my wing and taught him everything I know. He is like my little brother! But now, he doesn’t respect. I’m the reason he has so much respect from everyone.”
Rookie: "Why did you bench me?"
Nellie: "Your a rookie"
we sorely lack low block scoring
So perhaps I’m on Jax side, in the sense that warriors don’t have the management, that would provide them with a legitimate low post scoring option.
If we could bring in Bosh or Amare or anyone else who possesses that caliber of reliable offense, it would open up a lot for players like Jackson and Ellis.
Ellis and Jackson would be a lot more effective with a good low post scoring player, even when he playing once the game slows down. Jackson knows this, because he played with Duncan, and if Monta Ellis was playing with Duncan, I think he would have achieved similar results(championships). Spurs beat out Kobe teams a number of times to the top, so Jackson is right, him and Kobe are both clutch players with star syndrome.
I can understand the frustration that they feel (Jax and Monta), for not trading for Amare and Curry being the player that stalled the deal. Curry will be closely watched, because he is the player that stopped Amare / Randolph combo. I don’t think Griffin / * is better. I also think that Curry will need at least 2 years to grow up and become a real player.
So in that sense, Jax is right and management has sacrificed playoff and championship hopes of this team, by splitting up Baron, Al, Jax, and JRich, Barnes, Monta combo and then going in unknown location with “Maggette” move. Jax was reborn at the height of that team success, and he will not forgive Warrior organization for not giving them a chance to to go at it with legitimate low post threat. Let’s not forget that Randolph and Morrow and Curry are the only reason this management has not declared a total failure.
Dejuan Blair could have been a better draft pick? I like Curry. I don’t know if giving Ellis and Jax legit low post threat to play with would have put Warriors in playoffs. I like CJ Watson very much, i think he can develop PG game quite nicely.
But, does anyone think we will see Ellis, Curry, CJ Watson, A.C.Law, Morrow© lineup this year?
Quit talking about being a man and actually be a man and do the job you are so handsomly paid to do. You negotiated that deal yourself! You think you’re a world class talent? If that were the case, teams would be lined up trying to figure out how to get a trade done. Grow up!
